Since becoming a werewolf, Wolfie has become more snarky and sarcastic. He isn't really friendly and he prefers his own company. He has conflicted feelings towards his mom, and absolutely hates his dead dad. Generally, Wolfie will leave people alone if they leave him alone, but if they think they can get close to him, think again.
Despite resenting his mom, he still thinks what happened to her is unfair. No one decided to tell him if in the end, she was terminated or sent to Azkaban. All he knew was that he wasn't going into her custody again. This sort of prejudice has fueled him to study harder, and maybe one day defend people like his mom, and himself.
Wolfie is pessimistic and antisocial, and dislikes people who make assumptions about him, or his origins. Now of days, he mostly has people call him Graham or Stone, because the name Wolfie is too painful for him. Although he doesn't know it yet, Wolfie is ambitious, although ambitious because he wants to make a change. Whether it be a cure for werewolves, or just more sympathetic regulations, he hates being helpless and would rather be in control.
Something not many would know about Wolfie is that he loves exploring, and loves adventure. He isn't a muggle hater, but he doesn't feel very comfortable with muggles. During his time in Montana, his mom taught him how to play the harmonica, so you may catch him playing it. Whenever he is playing his harmonica, he is at his most vulnerable, and most emotional. More than likely he will be a lot less cold in these occasions, and sadder.
Wolfie’s life is just one big irony. It all started with his mom, Laney, a werewolf in a family of werewolves. Her father, grandfather, great grandmother, and even great great uncle Sam had been a werewolf. Unfortunately, the Stone’s tended to carry a legacy of infecting family members. It was her least favorite legacy to carry, but it was the one Laney had. Most of her family died young, killed off by hunters in the forests of Montana. The fact that she made it through adulthood and was the only member of her family to make it through wizarding school said a lot. She survived sticks stones and words. Naturally, her world had to come tumbling down when she met the man of her life, or as she would call him later, Wolfie’s dad.
Wolfie’s dad was tall, charismatic, a real charmer. Don’t misunderstand, Laney is no fool. She could clearly see this guy was the not the committing type. A life or death experience brought them together, however, when she saved him from a vampire. Near death experience can do a lot to a person, and they surely thought they were in love. The picture perfect couple became no more, the moment she told him she was a werewolf. He literally ran out of the house, despite loving her. If she thought that would be the last she saw of the coward, she was wrong.
Wolfie was born about a year later. Laney vowed to be the first in the family to not bite a family member, naming the boy Wulfric as a sort of challenge that, despite his name, he would be the one uninfected Stone. Laney gave him the middle name, Graham, after her brother who had died before becoming a werewolf. Growing up in a small town like Arlee, Montana, Wolfie didn’t have much to do, and he always felt weird mingling with the muggles. He thought his mom being a werewolf was really cool, especially because of the potion she drank that could make her in control of her doggish form. In a way, Wolfie was kind of jealous of his overprotective mom, and wished he could be special like her. He could’ve been more careful with what he wished for.
When Wolfie was seven, he had his first sign of magic. While his mom was transformed during the full moon, and he was locked up in the cellar to avoid her from getting near her, Wolfie unintentionally used magic to open the lock. The last thing he expected to see when he went to go spy on his mom, was a huge ugly beast preying on a deer. It made Wolfie sick, and made him rethink wanting to join the family legacy. He still loved and respected his mom, however.
Ding dong, cowardly father came back when Wolfie was around eight. Arnold, the guy who brewed Laney's necessary medicine (potion), had spilled the beans about her having the coward’s son, and word of mouth to owl traveled and finally reached him in England. He pleaded to take the kid, first arguing that it was his right as the father, and then arguing for his safety. Wolfie loved his mom, but he’d always been curious about who his dad was. Laney didn’t want Wolfie to go, but left the decision up to him. In the end, Wolfie agreed to go, under the condition that Laney go too. While his cowardly dad was unpleased about this, he obliged.
By the time August hit, the three were living together in a little house in Manchester. Wolfie’s cowardly father brewed all of Laney’s potions, while also keeping an eye on her to make sure she didn’t try anything on their son. Not that she would, Laney’s been good for eight years already after all.
It worked out that besides being a coward, his father was also very stupid. The dingus decided it would be a fantastic idea to go and get drunk with his mates when he should’ve been giving the potion to Laney. Needless to say, Laney had no control of her form. When the dingus came back home drunk, he found Laney taking a bite out of Wolfie’s shoulder. He tried to help but, drunk as he was, he couldn’t do much. Laney stopped attacking Wolfie and instead went after the guy who had just tried to send hot air at her. Wolfie didn’t want to hurt his mom, but he was bleeding out and his dingus dad was at the verge of being killed. In desperation, he caused the ceiling to cave in on his mom and dad. When the ministry was alerted to this, they took the dingus and Wolfie to St.Mungo’s, and arrested his mother. His father died, but Wolfie did not. Instead, he was faced with the burden of being a werewolf, the one thing his mother had promised she would never do to him. Without a dad, and with mom being dealt with by the ministry, the only people left to take care of Wolfie (and also equipped to take care of Wolfie) was the wizard orphanage, Lil Bundles.
