She wanted to take at least two optional classes this year, and CoMC, Mythology, and Ancient Runes were definitely off the table. (Memorization? No fun.) So, she sits patiently in the Wizarding Law classroom, hoping this class is easy enough to manage an EE.

Taking at least one optional class, since he neglected most of his classes anyways, he walked into the Wizardling Law class and sat in the front, messing with his desk.

Emily would walk in, wanting to become a lawyer when she would leave Hogwarts, being keen on this subject.
He strides into the classroom, in his usual pomp. "Right, my little lawyers. Someone tell me about the ministerial election that happened over summer!"

"Well, there were three candidates, being Estella Tyrel, Jade Knight & Regina Fontane. Estella wanted to strengthen the relations between the Ministry and the people. Jade wished for Britain to be safe. Regina believed that the children are our future. Estella won by a 1 vote margain."
*Emilee remained quiet for a moment, not really wanting to talk about her mom, but decided to pipe up* "Because the votes could have quickly switched, giving one of the other candidates the lead? It was really anyone's game."
"Well, probably the fact that she was Minister for a short time before. That mixed with all of her other positions she has held in the Ministrey. Also, I'd like to say that it is Mrs. Tyrrell, ,not Miss. Just throwing that one out there." *She would smile, trying to show she didn't mean to be rude about it.*

"It could have been related to the fact that Jade is a vampire- people don't generally trusts vampire, but seeing as Estella had given her an undersecretary position, she's trustworthy. Also, against Regina, she was looking towards keeping Britain safe. All Regina wanted was to keep the future generation safe. I don't know what'd she do if she were to be faced with war, but the other two seemed to have had a plan."
He chuckles, "Beg your pardon, Em. But you're absolutely correct. Her prior experience actually worked in her favour as voters would think that she's more reliable, which very well may be true as she delivered during her last time in office. Aaron, an excellent analysis of the other candidates, which brings us onto our focus for the year-" He begings to write on the chalkboard, Prior Ministers and their times in office. "Now, can anyone gives me an example of a previous minister?
