If you could clear the classroom and its archives for the class(es) your teacher(s) teach, that would be great. Please let me know when you are done, thank you. (I already cleared Potions for you, by the way.)
There's a thunderstorm outside...
I love thunderstorms. But that's not the point of this owl.
I signed Morgy up for teaching, I meant to take her off the registry.
In effort to give the users who RP Aurors something to do, I've invented some NPC cases for them to go out on, based on the history I wrote about [Benjamin's family]. If you want Renee to come in and brief Draco, I can do that. This above all else...to thine own self be true. 00:09, October 18, 2015 (UTC)
Hi, Jisk! So Jay, Lissy, Ck and I were discussing the sorting quiz, and we were wondering if we could attempt to update it? The current one doesn't seem like a particularly good judge of character, and it's often disregarded by both sorters and users putting a character in for sorting. The questions about which house a user wants and doesn't want, while canonically correct, can often make sorters feel guilty if they have to sort into another house. We were also hoping for some more open-ended questions, maybe? That way users would have to put more thought into characters, which would hopefully make them more invested in them and encourage them to keep them after a certain amount of time - it would also reduce the amount of character bans, as people would have to put some more effort into characters. We liked the look of this quiz specifically, or something along those lines with added detail? We thought we'd propose it, anyway, even if we can sort well enough with just personality sections. 17:35, October 20, 2015 (UTC)
Ministry of Magic Registration
When you're around..
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that whenever you're around/available, either Ck or I have something to discuss with you. So, if you can catch one of us one chat, that would be great! Hope everything is well!
You are, and always have been,my dream. I love you more than there are stars in the sky and fish in the sea. 19:49, October 27, 2015 (UTC)
This is perf!
I had some strange sort of dream last night that when I woke up.... I thought about how much I miss seeing you around. Hope life is well. This above all else...to thine own self be true. 15:53, November 19, 2015 (UTC)
A need for a trial?
Hey Jisk. :) So, in effort to use Tori Summers a bit more, Jay has come up with a storyline that has ended in a potential need for a Wizengamont full trial. Let me explain, and link you to some RPs, and perhaps we can come up with something.
Tori has multiple personality disorder, and it's become murderous. Tori is aware of this other personality, and its actions... and so when she ended up killing someone, she came in and confessed, wanting to keep the Wizarding World safe from herself. The story of the MPD sounds a bit convenient, but as she self-confessed, Renee brought in the Head Healer, and Hope also questioned her, and was given the names to some people from Tori's past who knew of her condition. Tori's old doctor came and had a chat with Hope in Hope's office, where Hope learned that this other personality has clearly escalated from ripping wings off butterflies, when Tori was a child, to ending human life.
Jay has been very thorough in her research of Tori's condition, and of cooperating throughout this process. My understanding is Jay is hoping she'll be hospitalized at St. Mungo's, rather than imprisoned in Azkaban.
Usually with cases we see on the wiki, everything is pretty cut and dry, and we've never needed a Wizengamont trial... but I think this case probably needs one.
So, with all that said... what are your thoughts?
- So... to clarify... we wouldn't have to do a trial? If Tori can be proved "questionably sane" she just gets shipped off to St. Mungo's.... no questions asked? This above all else...to thine own self be true. 04:16, November 22, 2015 (UTC)
I know you're not online as often nowdays, but me and Kibby were discussing a theory and CK mentioned that you're interested in it, so I thought we'd let you know about it :D Basically, me and Kib (well, mainly Kib) have been researching ways to incorporate Muggle technology into the magical world and have them work smoothly. A blog will be up tomorrow, and way more details will be there, but if by chance you're online before then, this is just a notice. We've found several ways it might work, along with canon proof of it working, and if it does actually work, this could be a pretty big deal in the magical world.
I signed my character, Elina Ström, up for a job in the Ministry of Magic here, and I was just wondering when and how I will found out if she has been accepted in the preferred position. -- 18:38, November 30, 2015 (CST)

As odd as this may sound coming from a stranger. I thought about you earlier today.

For Sarah Norman
Head for Technological Advancement
I signed up someone for said position; I don't mind if she gets it or not, tbh. I just figured I'd put her hat in the ring, and honestly, Lucy's character Cedrica is more qualified, so once she graduates and works under Sachi for a year or to, Sachi might switch positions with her... Or something. Not sure.
Rambling. Sorry. Figured I'd let you know.
Oh. And I miss you. Early Merry Christmas. Trust me, you're getting an owl for when it actually /does/ roll around.
It's me, from AoS wiki. I got on yesterday to edit and realized that I had been blocked because of an "Unacceptable Comment". At first, I thought it was a mistake. Well, here's what happened.
I pranked my older brother pretty bad last week, and his idea of "revenge" was wreaking habit on any of my social media or anything he had access to. Apparently, I he knew my account password, and he attempted to vandalize Agents of Shield wiki via my account. But, he didn't know the MenacePotatoe password. So, from what information I got out of him, he used the "Wiki Contributor" to vandalize and similar. I think when you blocked him, it blocked the whole IP address, and now I can't log in over on my PC. As I'm sure you may know, the ban doesn't end until late January, so I'd be unable to edit until then.
Anyway, I figured I should let you know what happened. I wanted to let you know that I would never intentionally compromise the integrity of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wiki, or any wiki out there.

Hello, Jisk :D I had a question about the Ministry. Do you think it would be possible for upper school Hogwarts students - sixth and seventh years, possibly - to get apprenticeships with the Ministry? I'm not sure if you've seen Kibby and I's blog on how technology could work in Hogwarts, but if that proves successful, surely that's a massive leap in technology in the Magical world, and there's a whole department on that in the Ministry. Surely the characters involved in that discovery would receive some attention from that department? Again, it's just a thought. Nice talking to you - it's been a while :) It is the music of the people who will not be slaves again. 15:18, December 27, 2015 (UTC)
Hey, Jisk. Nowhere did I find any evidence of a Minister change, so I'm assuming Draco is still Minister? If so, does that mean you're over the registration? I have a character patiently waiting :D.
I Don't Know Where To Check, So I will Ask You
do you know where the list of store owner positions are. I am interested in applying for one. Algamicagrat 14:32, January 9, 2016 (UTC)
Ollivander's Wand Shop
I was just wondering how conventional it is for up-and-coming students to RP their wand selection. I've noticed you were the one in charge of that, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask you.
It might be time... :P
Stage three of the infections is rearing its ugly head, and an epidemic call might be around the corner. Hope might pay a visit to Draco soon, because I think that would be for him to announce...? This above all else...to thine own self be true. 22:31, January 9, 2016 (UTC)
Early hours or late nights?
Don't usually see you on at this time :P 04:27, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
Not really sleeping, so I figured, why not make use? :P A
Anyone that you want to throw in would be great! You can jump in a pick a class now, or wait and see what needs to be filled. Whatever you'd like! :)
You are, and always have been,my dream. I love you more than there are stars in the sky and fish in the sea. 06:24, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
Because there isn't exactly an office other than that one related to potions, is there? Unless I am allowed to create one, which I am iffy on doing.
Since I do not possess the colorful vocabulary you do, I wish for you to GM this one. :P
How exactly does it work? :P
I didn't even realized I'd surpassed you. :P
Guess RPing a teacher for several terms... getting bored and archiving everything on occasion... and sending all those owls during the expansion have added up! This above all else...to thine own self be true. 19:29, January 25, 2016 (UTC)
Well, I was planning on sorting him once everything pointed out was corrected, but if you get to it before I do... :P And, by the way, you don't have to ask whether you should do a hat quote, or a simple sorting-- you can do whichever you like. It is, after all, your way of sorting. :P
Whoops! Sorry about the swearing part (and for stalking the recent activities page). I'll take that out. c:
An RP for Draco
Hogwarts Super Final
Hey! I'm sending this message to teachers I've haven't heard back from yet. We're doing a super final for the core classes this year! The specifics on what I need from you are in the blog. I need them by the start of week 6, so I have adequate time to plan everything out. The sooner I get the info the better! Thanks! This above all else...to thine own self be true. 04:27, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw it this morning...it was interesting. I wonder what Faith'll think of space travel? They do have a Space Chamber in the Department of Mysteries... Anyway, I think it's your post in Attaway Home/Ariana's Room. I'm super interested in that one too...I liked Alden's thoughts of her as a baby deer...or dragon depending. Bond_em7 (Owl Me) 14:09, February 23, 2016 (UTC)
A long time ago...
When I first joined, I remember looking at the leaderboard. And I remember thinking there was no way I'd ever make it on that page, let alone touch the number of points you have.
About that RP...
If you're still up for that RP we arranged ages ago but still haven't got round to (sorry!), I've been looking at Steve Shunpike's page, and he seems interesting :D Here are my characters, so if you like, pick whichever one, student or adult, seems the most compatible. :) The curves of your lips rewrite history. 17:14, March 3, 2016 (UTC)
Future help needed
I've got a new character in the works, as a first year for next term. And I think I might put her through Ollivanders and have you help me with her wand. :P This above all else...to thine own self be true. 07:07, March 12, 2016 (UTC)
Ahh - thank you! (re: Jackson Sills)
I just wanted to message you back thanking you for sorting him (I was a bit worried that his Tragic Backstory was a bit overboard, by my standards) and for tacking the sorting's bubble on the end. It really adds a lot to the experience, especially knowing that someone else has read over the forum, approves, and goes through the trouble to quote Rhianna (among other fascinating references I had to look up). Anyways, I just wanted to express my appreciation and say how well you write the eccentricity and novelty of The Hat. Thank you, again! HugCartel (talk) 18:17, March 20, 2016 (UTC)
Would like to role-play my character getting first wand
One step ahead of you. Already done
You still on?
You on? Would like to finish my characters rp in ollivander's
Ready to finish first wand rp
Hey, I was going to post on Ollivander's with my firstie, but then I realized things were being moved to the backroom. So, I guess I'm supposed to post there then, right? I just wanted to make sure, and I hope this wasn't a bother at all. :)
Yes that does
Responded to post great vid btw :-)
"I got the magic in me. Everytime I touch that track it turns into gold. Everybody knows I've got the magic in me."
That would be perfect! Thanks. :D
Please don't. xD I would post, but currently I'm stuck in an ill-tempered storm of unpredictable internet. My parents say this will let up by tomorrow (end of Holy Week break), but I'm not holding out much hope.
A Question For You
Could Kedric Shane, a former Azkaban Inmate and Expelled Hogwarts student apply to own a wand again? He's been clean since his imprisonment and is trying to turn himself around
04:22, March 30, 2016 (UTC)
So I was thinking, Roxane Oduba would probably be looking for a graduate job at the end of this academic year, so maybe if she could have a position? She could probably come for an interview or something and see what works for her?
So, I had given one of my characters a wand, but it doesn't seem like it fits her, so could you maybe help me RP her finding a wand? And would you like to RP besides Ollivander's sometime?
Thank you! And maybe Luc and Jacinthe Mercier? She might be familiar with him, seeing that she attends Beauxabatons and he runs Drumstrang. Do you have a preference for location?
Godric's Hollow work? It would be perfect for his Phoenix. Do you want to go first or want me to?
Whichever, older or younger, that you prefer. The younger students are usually more active and more people post which is fun, but the older students get more in depth about magical theory and things like spell-resistance. The plans I've been using are here, though of course feel free to change them in any way you like. Let me know which years you'd prefer and we'll make it work, from traditional (1st-4th/5th-7th) to odd (I do odds you do evens) etc. Bond_em7 (Owl Me) 12:20, April 20, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah that sounds accurate, thanks
That wand works just fine :)
00:23, April 23, 2016 (UTC)
It fits her perfectly. What she lacks currently, she's gonna develop in later years, so that wand is a perfect fit! Thanks Jisk!
Hey, Jisk! So, there are some forums that are redos. Those forums are supposed to be approved solely by Jay or myself, as result of one of the recent votes DARP held, since we're the ones that know best of the Percy Jackson series. I'd appreciate it if all those forums that are redos you left for me and/or Jay to sort. Thank you! :)
I know you were not the one who was supposed to sort my "redo" for technical reasons and therefore it probably does not count, I still wanted to thank you for two reasons.
- 1.) Your quick response time.
- 2.) Another excellent sorting hat post.
I am actually keeping that one for personal reasons whether or not I actually get to use it for my character. Thanks again!

Continuing the Love
I thought you might enjoy knowing that, despite bouts of feeling like you may not belong, there are many users who love you. :)
(if you click on it... it should get bigger/more read-able. But I didn't feel the need to flood your owl page with a gigantic picture.)
OH MY GOD
ARE YOU A POI FAN???!?!
I noticed you editing on the POI wiki :P
I think I'm staying. Soc convinced me. Hehehe. <3

The history and personality section isn't finished because it's still a wip. I stated at the top. XD
I just didn't have time last night to add them in before I had to get off.
❇ My lungs will fill and then deflate. ❇
❇ They fill with fire, exhale desire. ❇

I had already fixed those particular things day before yesterday
- Re-added ur as far as the issue goes I think Jaye misread it, he thought she studied how to do it but what it ment was she studied what they where editor and they're history.
I hope I'm doing this right
If my stalking of pages and roleplays has enlightened me in the ways of this wiki, I do believe you were the one that sorted my character. In which case I feel you should know that I thoroughly enjoyed it. You could be a sorting hat yourself! :P
Did I forget the template before the name?
Same to you :)
Thank you for the short but incredibly sweet owl. I hope that you're also well and happy. I'm going to miss you, you've truly been a huge help to me, especially when I was first starting out on here. I hope you know how valued you are :)

Would it be possible to finish Damian Hunter's interview for Auror that Jaye started before I adopted the character?
Keeping you in the loop
It's time to judge!
The champions have successfully completed their Fist Task. Like with canon, the first task will be scored out of 10, based on effectiveness, creativity and display of skill. Please post Luc's score for each champion under the "scores" header on the first task page. You have until 11:59pm, May 22nd (UTC) to do this. If the champions' posts aren't on the page, check the archive!
So, I was talking to Ck, because I'm not very intelligent, and I needed a translation...and basically we're guessing that Saffron is pro tempore because Merisa might bring her character back...but that character has been gone for a longgg time now, and we have reason to believe that she won't be brought back ever? :) I don't know what's to happen with that. I was just told that I should probably let you know. :P
Hey Jisk ^_^ So, a few days ago, someone (I can't remember who) asked if wizards could get cancer. Apparently the answer was "no", but I wondered where that came from so when Jaye, who I think answered the original question, came on, I asked her where she got her information from. (That would be this article by Rowling herself.) (I hope it's okay I copy and paste this next part from my owl to Ck. I tried to edit out most of my post-argument aggression.)
Rowling's article, which covers non-magical sicknesses/ailments in general, states that wizards are "a wizard could catch anything a Muggle might catch, but he could cure all of it; he would also comfortably survive a scorpion sting that might kill a Muggle, whereas he might die if bitten by a Venomous Tentacula. Similarly, bones broken in non-magical accidents such as falls or fist fights can be mended by magic, but the consequences of curses or backfiring magic could be serious, permanent or life-threatening". This, to me, clearly says that a wizard can definitely have something life-threatening, such as AIDS or cancer, but it would only be deadly if the wizard refused all treatment. (Such things as the cold or the flu would most likely not be life threatening at all, both because muggle immune systems, if uncompromised, deal with minor viruses well, and because "wizards have an enviable head start over the rest of us in dealing with the flu".) Several users on the admin team think that no muggle ailment can kill a wizard, which makes no sense to me because the article says that, in most cases, it's the magical healing that does the trick moreso than a wizard's immune system.
Jaye cited this Harry Potter Wiki article to support her claim, but the article itself is speculative: "Due to the protection provided by their innate and deliberately used magic, it appears wizards are rarely or never killed by mundane or non-magical forces, whether non-magical diseases and disorders or accidental collisions, drownings, falls, etc." This statement is not reliable as canon information because not only does it leave room for error, it also leaves room for choice (see the bolded "or"). I checked the sources section for that article, and Rowling's article is not listed. I also checked the page's history and the date Rowling's article was published (sometime around July 31, 2014), and the HP wiki article does not appear to have been updated according to Rowling's information. I pointed out that the article was not definitive and slightly at odd's with Rowling's undeniably canon information, but was told to drop the issue instead of given an explanation as to why we were coming to different conclusions.
Naturally I did not drop the issue, and I do not plan to until someone can clear it up. This is not because a wizard's susceptibility to muggle illnesses is just that important, because it really isn't that big a deal (but it does introduce some possible storylines, such as for muggleborns who don't yet know the full extent of magic, or for a depressing ending to a character), but because the reaction to my opposition to higher administrators' conclusion was recieved...badly. I have spent the last hour reading the three cited articles, checking the sources listed on the HP wiki article, and trying to figure out what I'm missing, but the conlusions I come to are that a) Rowling's article is being misread, b) they don't care or c) they think that allowing wizards to be susceptible to muggle sicknesses will create too much of a hassle. Regardless, something is not true/canon just because you rank higher and can ban people who disagree. The chances of everyone suddenly deciding their character has brain cancer or MRSA or something is slim, and if it did happen the healing rp would be so short it really wouldn't be necessary. It may very well be true that a wizard has never died of cancer (but I highly doubt it, as some people are just very stubborn and/or want to die), but we don't know if it is, and if it were that would not mean death by cancer was not impossible--just that no wizard has ever let it get far enough.
I would go to Carn/CK/Jaye, but Carn and Jaye have made it disturbingly obvious I should shut up, and I already presented my evidence to Ck and she sicced Jaye on me, so. Also, I trust your judgement and you tend to make very informed decisions, so if you agree with them and I have just missed something somehow, you'll probably just point it out and then I'll feel like an idiot.
Thank you for your time; I know this is a little long.
Second Task, First Round Complete!
The first round of the Second Task is complete. The duels can be found here. The winners of each duel automatically get five points-- so you are giving up to five points to the losers (Aleksander, Rafael and Wesley) for creativity, effectiveness and display of skill.
- The second round of duels has been completed. Please post your scores by Sunday, OOC! This above all else...to thine own self be true. 21:16, June 10, 2016 (UTC)
