The Staunton Family. Elusive. Unseen and Historic. Traditionally, the Stauntons were well known and respected within the wizarding community, but as years went on their nature became so secretive, the name meant nothing in comparison to the power it once had. Following a patriarchal branch of the family, Jack Staunton was born to pure-blood Arran Staunton and his muggle wife, Corinne Eastland. The family of three lived in the city of Bristol and unlike previous generations before them, they tended to take on the role as the neighbourhood entertainers. It was a common belief among the wizarding Staunton members that Arran had fallen in love with the muggle-lifestyle and had given up his magical ways for Corinne. Eventually, this led to the rest of the family cutting off Arran, his wife and son.
Despite this, throughout his childhood Jack showed signs of possessing wizarding powers and soon Arran had to confess to Corinne of his previous life. Sadly enough, Corinne seemed to not be able to handle it and ended up leaving the family. For a few years, Arran and Jack stayed in Bristol before moving into a wizarding community in the West Midland countryside. There, Arran married a witch, Sarisa, and embraced the wizard lifestyle once again. As a result, the Stauntons began to rekindle their connection with the duo.
When Jack was 11 he was sent his Hogwarts letter to which his parents promptly accepted for him and equipped him for his first year. After being sorted into Ravenclaw, Jack lived up to the stereotype and was among the best in all of his classes. Throughout his time at Hogwarts Jack lived a quiet life, opting to immerse himself in books or conducting mini-surveys about trivial things. After graduating he returned to live with his parents yet he's hoping to move to London as soon as possible.
Following graduation from Hogwarts, Jack spent the time to lounge around at home and help with odd tasks such as babysitting and tutoring on his step-mother's side of the family. While that was good, Jack wanted more and left for London. There, he had run-ins with unpleasant people, leading him to abandoning his identity and adopting a new one, one where the person inside doesn't care.
