A white letter rested on the table, bright in the darkness, as Blair laid on the couch opposite the letter, crying. He didn't know how they could do something like that because of the medical treatments... but what he did know was that it was unexpected, and definitely upsetting. Blair continued to sob, hiccuping every once in a while, while he forgot to hold back the pain, and combining the physical and mental hurt he was feeling, it was just sending him into a crying state that didn't seem to stop anytime soon, plus combining with the nausea from crying as long as he has, finally came to throwing up in between gasps for breath.
He started, hastily sitting up and fixing red-rimmed grey eyes on Narkissa. "S-Sorry for w-waking you..." His sentence was split in half by another wave of nausea, sending a small amount of fluid into the can next to him, as he tried to hide the tears, straightening his posture and trying to appear like the strong guy he was known to be.
He took the cloth and water gratefully, wiping his mouth before speaking. "N-Not exactly... I got news that my mom was killed in action and my dad disowned me this morning. I've been crying all day." Blair muttered, beginning to sob again.
He threw up again suddenly before turning his position to nestle into her side, looking up at her with teary grey eyes as he sobbed, hiccuping and gasping for breath. "T-The c-cost o-of medical t-treatments." Blair gasped out, continuing to cry. Not even since the attack had he had a crying fit this bad.
He blinked, eyes looking at Narkissa with tears welling in their depths. "R-Really?" He felt the nausea rising up again, and immediately turned back to the can, vomiting almost non-stop, but turning into hacking coughs after about five minutes.
He took the water, taking a small sip, and nestling back into Narkissa's side with a whine. From all his throwing up, his skin had gotten paler and covered in sweat. "I probably should tell you... I ate some berries that had gone bad, started not feeling well about last Tuesday, but it just keeps getting worse." Blair murmured, throwing up again with a whine of pain.
He groaned, nuzzling into Narkissa's side before answering. "From a kid at school... He said he found them." Blair's response was miserable, but luckily finally, the nausea had released its' hold on the boy leaving him able to get some much-needed sleep nestled into Narkissa's side.
