The Room of Requirement (Come and Go Room), is a secret room within Hogwarts, that only appears when a person is in great need of it. The room transforms itself into whatever the witch or wizard needs it to be at that moment in time. This is where our Dumbledore's Army meetings will be held. Please follow this link to the Dumbledore's Army meeting.
While he had seen Kohl over the break, he still missed him, weirdly enough. He supposes that comes with the territory of finally having a friend like him. Dylan waits around for him, having planned to meet each other in the room of requirement. He hasn't gone in yet, however. They promised they'd go in together.
Kohl too was missing out on the quality time the two were always spending together. So when the two had planned to meet up at the room of requirement Kohl couldn't contain his excitement. As Kohl walked up to Dylan at the door, he got a bit of a jump in his step.
He grins happily, seeing Kohl. Unable to contain it, he hugs his friend. "Ready to go in?" Dylan asks nervously. "I've only been in here once. It's a really...magical kind of place." Not that he should be surprised. Dylan's hand creeps over to Kohl's.
Kohl happily hugged Dylan back. "Sure am, I've never been in here so I have absolutely no clue what to expect..." Feeling Dylan's hand graze over his, Kohl interlocked his fingers with Dylan's and gave them a bit of a squeeze.
Dylan squeezes back, taking a step forward, pushing the door open. Just looking at the inside takes his breath away, because it's exactly what they'd hoped for; Everywhere they looked, there were nice rings. Dylan looks at Kohl. "Step in?" He's a little shy from the abundance.
Kohl nodded, taking a step into the room and taking in the sights that he saw. The multiple beautiful rings was amazing, he was always the type to admire fine jewelry. "How on earth are we ever going to decide which rings to get? There's hundreds here!"
He can't help but laugh. "We'll have to try them on one by one." Naturally though, he feels drawn to some more than others. He pointed to the back of the room, where a small box was almost hidden from view. "That one looks pretty curious," he states, feeling slightly drawn to the odd box in the room of rings.
Not wearing either his glasses or his contacts, Kohl couldn't really see what the ring looked like from the distance they were standing away from it. "I can't see it from here." Kohl then pulled Dylan towards the ring he pointed out to go look at.
They move closer, to the point of reaching it. Quickly, Dylan slips the ring onto his finger, modeling it for Kohl. "How does it look?" He asks, unknowingly coy. He's not sure why he really likes this particular ring. The ring seems to shift to fit his finger. Where it was, there is it's contemporary, similar but with different coloring.
Kohl examined the ring for a little bit before nodding happily in approval. "I really like that one~!" It was then that Kohl noticed the similar ring, after picking it up and sliding it onto his ring finger, Kohl couldn't help but to smile as he looked at it on his finger. "How's this one look for me?"
Dylan inspects it critically. "Awful," but he says it with a smile. "You look better with it than me," he says with a small laugh. He feels a little odd as they both wear them, but the feeling passes. Of course, he doesn't notice the magical nature of them. "Happy half anniversary." He means, of course, the pseudo not so pseudo wedding they had. "Now we are definitely married," he jokes. To him, it's more like friendship rings. Friends for life.
Kohl laughed as he pulled Dylan into a hug, a friendship hug to match the friendship rings. "Happy half anniversary, I look forward to our full one year anniversary~" After letting go of Dylan, he examined the ring on his finger and continued to smile, he liked the fact that their rings were matching and he especially liked that they picked them out together.
Dylan kisses his cheek, then, after a moments rest, kisses his lips quickly. It was a peck, nothing as romantic friendly as they've had before. "Even in a sea of rings we found them, kind of like we found each other," he says cornily. "Not to be sentimental, but being sentimental, I'm really glad you're my friend Kohl." He blushes a little.
