*Arcturus plods along the Pursuit, his mind filled with thoughts of his namesake. It now truly seems as if this is where his grandfather met his demise, and to judge from his diaries it was not unexpected. What was the old man involved in, and what role did Mater play in all this?*

*she walks up the other side, not noticing Arcturus*
*Arcturus finds the spot on the Pursuit that corresponds to the wizard photo of Arcturus (I) brandishing a broadsword, an image which, apparently, comes from the moments before his death, and which Arcturus found inside the binding on Mater's vacuous, venomous diary entries.*

*She begins to hum quite loudly to herself, following the tune of Für Elise*
*Arcturus found the blade his grandfather was wielding in the picture - among the trophies in the Armour Room, a fact which equally makes no sense, if he fell here. Looking around, and employing an energised lodestone, Arcturus locates the missing blade fragment, and matches it to its home, thus confirming that, at some point at least, the weapon has been here, and used, before.*

*She slowly turns and walk up behind him. She peers over his shoulder* What you doing?
"Well, that's rather the problem. *Arcturus is warming to his theme, if not his company.* What I "know" doesn't make sense. My grandfather, your great-uncle, after whom I was named - and we did, incidentally mention several times that you were going to address me as 'Cousin Arcturus', but anyway - he, Adera, appears to have died on this very spot, and with the sword I'm now holding in his hand. Which, for a wizard of his power, seems a very odd choice, to put it mildly."

Just a wild oppinion, maybe he was be-headed? A wand doesn't make such a clean?
"Grandfather was an expert swordsman, from all I've been able to piece together, but why limit himself to the physical? Unless - maybe someone drugged him, suppressed his magical abilities, I mean, after all, that's what the family's been researching, admittedly to use against Mudbloods and Half-Bloods, but maybe someone found a way."

Possibly, maybe some one in the Ministry, what better way of making the most dangerous wizards and witches out of the wizarding world by making them Muggles
*Arcturus realises he may have underestimated the girl, and this time when he speaks there is neither impatience nor condescension.* "It would fit the known facts, but how would the Ministry get access? I mean, my parents allowed no visitors, the House elves never travelled - it's almost unimaginable. They would need an inside man, or woman. Hmmm."

Very possable, maybe they where bribed, but who would be such a worm as to do such a thing?
"The Chambers is where those paintings are. This pull you two were talking about has to be inside. I will say this only one time, I am not sure you should cater to this feeling."

*He shrugs, an extensive and long-lasting movement.* "Not my pull, Ono. Hele hope here got a full hornet's nest in his head about this. Me, I figure, mai ho' okaumaha. Tutu said this place mattered, so I reckon it's still true."
