Micah truly hated life in the Precinct, it was a living nightmare and he constantly felt trapped. He often found his mood was also on a steady decline and he was just never happy at all. It was a real turn around from how he was before Alistair became minister. When he could he himself and be happy with Harrison. Now he often felt alone. He missed waking up with Harrison beside him, and while there were times he was able to see him in Block D here and there, it wasn't the same as living together 24/7. Today, Micah was rather solemn. He was laying in his bed staring up at the ceiling. Something he often did to pass whatever time he could nowadays.

Narkissa's feet delicately took her down the hallway adjacent to Micah's bedroom, her footsteps nearly stifled by the sheer lack of pressure applied. Pausing, she familiarized the lack of movement that came from Micah's bedroom and allowed the corners of her mouth to pull down in displeasure. She had allowed her favorite little dhampir time to process the changes on his own but was growing increasingly impatient with the slump he had forged himself into. Bursting through the door of Micah's bedroom, Narkissa made an instant b-line toward the curtains and threw them open so that sunlight would pour over the entire room. "Rise and shine, dragul meu. It's a beautiful day outside." Now that the light had illuminated the man's bedroom, she felt her lip curl with distaste. "When was the last time you cleaned this room? Or showered? I'm hoping that stench is the room and not you."

Micah could tell the second Narkissa walked into his room that he was about to get lectured similar to that of a mom lecturing his son. But in a weird sense, Micah was thankful for it. Narkissa was the closest thing he had to a mom figure and he knew whatever she was about to say, he needed to hear. The curtains being opened was a bit of a shock, and due to being a dhampir he was rather sensitive to sunlight as is. After his eyes adjusted he sat up, from the way his hair was slightly disheveled, it was obvious he'd been in bed all day. "I haven't cleaned the room all week, but I showed just last night I swear! The smell isn't me, honestly."

Narkissa turned to look at the younger male while crossing her arms with displeasure, her scowl growing by the second. "I expect this mess cleaned by this afternoon," she replied pointedly and then moved to sit on the edge of his bed, coaxing him forward into a nuzzling embrace. "I don't like seeing you sad," she murmured suddenly and affectionately rubbed his cheek in a very tender way. "What can I do to make you happy, my love? Would you like me to fetch your boyfriend? I can make you two supper?"

Micah nodded his head quickly out of fear at the repercussions of him not doing so, "It will be, I promise." With Narkissa coaxing him into a nuzzled embrace, Micah was grateful to accept as he rested his head against her shoulder. It was amazing that Narkissa could pick up on Micah's mood, she really was like his mother in that sense. "Would you really do that?" He asked, knowing fully well that Narkissa truly would. He was appreciative of that and he was also appreciative that Narkissa was helping cheer him up. "It's hard not getting to live with him like we used to before Alistair took over..."

Narkissa moved her hand up to gently stroke his hair in a reassuring manner, allowing his frame to rest against hers. Unlike his warm touch, hers was cool but sturdy. "Yes, of course," she said softly. "Anything to make you happy." The vampire looked thoughtful for a moment before looking down at him, "would you like me to move him into the house? I'm sure we can arrange space in this bedroom once you clean it."

Micah was thankful Narkissa started playing with his hair, it was something he always found incredibly calming and it relaxed him significantly. That and listening to her talk was increasingly making him feel better. Naturally, he was surprised at Narkissa's offer to get Harrison into their block. He was unsure if it'd even work. Lifting his head so he could look at Narkissa, his expression was that of longing. "Do you really think Alistair would agree to that?"

"Alistair barely has power over this block of the Precinct anymore. I'm in charge around here," she replied matter-of-factly, twirling strands of his dark curls in her fingers. "I bribed him to keep this street vampire only and I can change that to fit Harrison if you want me to," she said softly and gently leaned forward to kiss his head. "You miss him dearly."

Micah listened intently as Narkissa spoke, despite the heavy topic at hand she still had a way of making it seem so calming. But then again maybe it was the fact that she was playing with his hair, that was definitely the right touch. Nodding his head softly after resting his head back down on her shoulder, Micah let his eyes close for a second. "I really do, I don't know what I'd do without him if I didn't have you here with me, Narkissa."

"Don't worry, my sweet. Presidency comes and goes and soon enough, we'll have another." She nuzzled into him once more, enjoying the small moments or affection she could steal from her adoptive dhampir children. "You may tell Harrison to pack up his things after you clean this room," she said sternly and then grinned, brushing strands of his hair from his face. "Would you like me to prepare you lunch?"

"Hopefully we get another one soon." He spoke candidly as Narkissa's words stuck with Micah and eased his racing thoughts, and if her words weren't enough then the calming way she spoke and the way she nuzzled him softly assisted her words tremendously in cheering him up. If Narkissa was positive towards the situation, then Micah felt no reason why he too shouldn't be. Lifting his head up to nod though, Micah flashed a toothy grin that exposed his sharp dhampir teeth. "I'll clean my room up as soon as possible, but lunch does sound good right about now... Could my room wait till after we're done eating?"

Narkissa didn't want to bring in the threat but if someone didn't kill the minister, she would do it herself. "Of course. Is there any special requests?" she posed the question with a tender smile, using her thumb to gently rub the younger's cheek. "I'll make you whatever you want."

Micah was thankful he didn't have to clean his room just yet, it was a mess and that mess was something he truly was not looking forward to at all. "Could I just have some bacon and eggs? I'll come out with you to keep you company while you make it. And of course I can help as well." He beamed as Narkissa's thumb rubbed his cheek.

Narkissa expelled a laugh and then got up from the boy's bed, her silken bathrobes she typically wore in the mornings flowing around her like tendrils of smoke. "You can help me crack and mix the eggs," she said before glancing behind her as she opened the door to the bedroom that led into the hallway, "I truthfully cannot stand the smell." That was the norm for Narkissa - she didn't prefer nor consume human food unless necessary.

Watching as Narkissa stood up and made her way to the door, Micah nodded. He understood Narkissa didn't really like human food nor the smell of it, so he figured he'd be helping with some preparation. He didn't mind though, since living with Harrison he had become quite domesticated in terms of cooking. "Of course!" He called back to her as he stood up and followed her out of the bedroom, closing his door behind him.

Narkissa hopped down the stairs with the same pep in her step she usually carried, every movement calculated and involuntarily elegant. She moved down the hall and took a sharp turn into the kitchen, grabbing a cute little apron as she moved toward the fridge to grab all the ingredients she needed. "So how is modelling going for you? I feel like its been too long since we talked about your career last."

With Micah in tow behind Narkissa as the pair walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, he found a seat by the station they'd be preparing everything on and sat down. Awaiting Narkissa's instructions on when to start, he rested his elbow against the surface and then his chin against his hand. "Its been going well, though the whole Alistair issue kind of was a set back," he started honestly. "Things are picking back up though and I have a shoot coming up for a um," he paused for a second as his cheeks flushed pink. "An underwear ad."

Narkissa grabbed all the ingredients she would need from the fridge and brought them over to the island. She arranged them according to dish, which was probably extremely anal but totally a her thing to do. "Underwear?" she echoed at first, clearly surprised by the choice of ad before grinning at Micah. "Well, I suppose if you have it then flaunt it - isn't that what the humans say?"

Watching intently as Narkissa organized the ingredients for their meal, Micah was a little embarrassed over the fact that he had in fact just told Narkissa such a thing. "Yeah... It isn't usually my first choice of photoshoots but seeing as there hasn't been a lot of work I'm going to take whatever I'm offered for right now."

"I'll be proud of you either way," she confessed with geniune truth before offering the boy a smile, unable to stop herself from tenderly touching his chin much like a mother would. "Maybe I should do one myself," she teased with a slight chortle, pushing the eggs toward the boy so he could start cracking them.

Micah couldn't help but smile himself when Narkissa touched his chin softly. Also drawing out a soft laugh at her remark, "If you do that you'll end up showing me up!" He quipped back with his smile still very much so present as he took the carton of eggs and started cracking them into a bowl.

"One hundred and one and I still look hot," she said with a laugh. Narkissa realistically looked like she was in her early twenties, maybe even late twenties. The vampire grabbed a pan from one of the cabinets and turned on a burner, setting the frying skillet down. She opened a pack of bacon - which bothered her less than eggs and begun to neatly arrange them around the pan.

"I can only hope I look as good when I'm that age, but I'm only a half-vampire so I'll probably look like a silver fox." He laughed to himself as he continued to crack the eggs into the bowl. Seeing Narkissa place the bacon into the pan got Micah excited, it'd been awhile since he had bacon and the sizzle was making his mouth water.

"Everyone loves a little salt and pepper," she said with a laugh at his revelation and used a fork to flip the pieces early before leaning her hip into the counter to look at him. "I've always been curious what your human tastebuds experience. It tastes different for me."

Micah blushed as he stifled a laugh, "Hopefully I'll fall into that category then as I age." He said before figuring he'd cracked enough eggs and closing the carton. "I don't really know how to compare it to be honest, considering I've grown up with the luxury of both I have nothing to compare it to."

"I'm positive you will, dragul meu," she mused and begun to flip the bacon, apparently not afraid of the spitting oil that dared to spatter her pale skin. Moving to take the carton of eggs, the vampiress placed them back into the fridge before glancing at him with a small smile. "What would you think if I got the coven going again? Once this nightmare is over, I can open up Thornhill once more."

Micah watched Narkissa with his complete attention, intrigued by the fact that she was barely reacting to the hot oil splattering about. He was only snapped out of it by the sound of the woman's voice. "The coven? God I almost forgot about that... Honestly I miss Thornhill so I'm all for the rebirth of the Coven."
