Regan and Jarryd
Jarryd SummersHufflepuff Alumni, Transfiguration Professor -Animagus – 07:25, November 7, 2016 (UTC)
Being the rule breaker he tended to be sometimes, Jarryd came to the Bell Towers to climb them. Trying to find a way into the towers for a safer option than climbing on the outside, Jarryd gave up trying to get in, so he turned into his bear form and tried out if his claws could hold him to the outside of the Bell Tower

She was exploring... but knew the towers were off limits. She was in the corridor where she was allowed to be when she heard another student coming up. She frowned when she thought she heard... claws? She peered around the corner to see what was happening-- and let out a loud scream when she saw a bear.

Jarryd heard a scream near by and thought it would probably be because of him so he changed back to his normal form. He started walking to where he thought the scream came from, unstrapping his board when he didn't want to walk the short distance, doing a kickflip as he noticed a young girl standing by a corner

Her eyes went wide when she saw an older year. Not wanting to get into trouble... or get eaten... she turned on her heels and tried to run away from him.

Seeing the girl start to run away, Jarryd sped up pushing to get in front of her and spun the front end of his board around, blocking the girl. "You can't leave now you seen what I can do." Jarryd said seriously but the smile on his face said otherwise
It was a lazy afternoon that Ruiko spent no time wasting. There wasn't anything of particular interest to do, but she wasn't letting that define the entire day. She nimbly leaped off the lower section of the tower with hardly an eye out for onlookers. Yes, climbing is forbidden. No, she didn't care.
The half-banshee was just walking around the bell tower, obvious bored out of his mind. It was another weekend with nothing to do, again. Why was this school so boring sometimes? Wasn't this school supposed to be fun? He sighed as he got closer to the tower, a frown crossing his lips slightly. If he'd been paying attention he would of realized he was in the direction of the girl who had literally jumped from the tower.
When she landed, Ruiko did not anticipate the extra cushion of a human boy. She knew how to twist her body in a way that would minimize her impact, but her full weight still bore on whichever unfortunate soul she was now sitting on. Inspecting the person coolly, the blonde picked herself up and helped herself to a smirk. "I know I'm cute and a queen, but people should stop being so eager to break their bones for me," she noted.
Upon feeling something, or rather someone, fall on him, he feel to the ground. Stoping a moving object had actually hurt and no he wasn't going to be doing it again and upon hearing the person speak he laughed, because that was slightly funny."Did you jump from the tower?" He pointed up when he finally turned to face Ruiko. They seemed meet in the weirdest of circumstances
"Did I?" Ruiko shrugged fluidly, her smirk intact. "Can't remember~" Mischief glinted in the corner of her eye. She placed a hand on her hip and tilted her head curiously. "Did you finally put your Mudkip in a Pokeball, then?"
The half-blood lifted an eyebrow. "Then what? Are you an angel that fell from the sky?" He was obviously joking, because he knew this girl had to of jumped from the tower. Unless she had falled from a broom which he doubt happened. "He's too big for a pokeball." Mack was oblivious to the joke, and looked at Ruiko tilting his head slightly.
"Unless hell and heaven switched residencies... not from the sky," Ruiko stated nonchalantly. "Ohh, so did you leave him with Nurse Joy?" She didn't think she'd stop teasing him anytime soon. He didn't seem to mind, or he just remained oblivious to it.
He chuckled at girls next words. "They could of, who knows." He couldn't helo but find the girl teasing him to be kind of funny and decided to go along with it. "If my mam is nurse joy, then I might of."
She took mental note as her own eyebrow flew up. "Don't tell me," she said. Her tone had just the slightest edge of teasing. "She's at the hospital wing, also tending to that last person who got tricked by the stairs." Even as she mentioned the stairs, something about her expression warned people that it wasn't a good idea to climb them with her around.
He crossed his arms over his chest at her last words, because he had heard about that a little while back. "Yes, the people I've heard you've been pushing?" He was pretty sure that this girl wasn't capable of something so heinous, but then again he knew not to be surprised by what others have done.
Placing a hand over her heart in mock offense, she tossed an aghast look at him. "You shouldn't drop accusations like that without any proof~" she almost sang. There was no mistaking the amusement that her tongue was dipped in. Whether it was at his antics or at the thought of putting people in peril was yet to be seen. "Your Mudkip is probably cheering them up as we speak."
He decides not to comment further on the stairs incident(s). "Yea, they're probably playing in the whirlpool." He joked as he tried to stand up as a sharp pain went through his ankle , only failing and falling forward on to Ruiko his face turning bright red in embarressment.
Quick as a lick, Ruiko cocked an eyebrow at his fumble. "I don't need to be this close to your face to appreciate your cuteness, but it's appreciated," she drawled out calmly. She bopped his nose with her own; the tiny distance between them allowed it. "Are you gonna get up or shall I just get myself out~?"
The half-banshee's blush deepened when the girls nose touched his. He was lost for words, because she was seriously pretty. Why did he have to hurt his ankle and fall on a pretty girl? "Sorry." He managed to get out as he rolled off of her and tried to put some weight on his ankle causing him to wince ever so slightly.
The lazy smirk made an encore at his clearly flustered reaction. The blonde sat up, not even using her arms to do so, and let the eyebrow stay on top. His wince hadn't slipped past her notice. "Break something other than your ego?" she inquired.
Mack's blush started to dissipate as a look of utter irritation took hold of his lips. "Ya know, maybe you should stop joking around for once. Life isn't a game." He spoke as he tried to stand up again, which was to no avail.
"If it's not a game, then why can't you ever get out of it alive?" Ruiko quizzed. Her gaze housed the ever present spark of clear humor, but some part was serious. "Sounds like any other scam, really." As to remain eye level with him, she didn't get up. "Either way, you're going to have to put up with the so-called jokes because you obviously need help standing up." Her grin was infectious, but it lacks her usual mirth. "Sooo do I have to cut off a hand so I can give you one?"
The half-banshee had a smile creep up and blossom from his irritation, yet he willed the smile away attempting to stay firm with his words. "Your help would be appreciated and no don't cut off your hand." He looked half alarmed.
She sighed theatrically. "Damn." A pout flirted at her lips. "I was looking forward to the gory part," she complained as she helped him up. Her grip on him was oddly gloved. The weather wasn't even remotely chilly. "Up you go, mackfish~" she said cheerily.
Mack was a little taken aback by her words before realizing she was onlt joking. "If you like gorey things, go hang out a vampire." He jokes as Ruiko helped him up, leaving no space between them. For some reason Mack didn't notice the distance as he blushed at her calling him mackfish, because that was a tad embarrassing. "Please don't call me that."
"I would, but I'm not really into biting. Too kinky," she said without batting an eye. A smirk underwent a smooth coronation when she noticed his blush. "Aw, but it's me showing off my cleverness." She started walking at a leisurely pace as to not worsen his injury; typically she would do what she wanted without a care for collateral damage, but whatever remained of her flimsy conscience compelled her to asist Mack. It was a sincere and unnerving feeling that was normally reserved for the younger orphanage children.
Amusement pulled up an eyebrow. "Would command you to bow down to me, but I'll kindly take your current predicament into account and let it slide," she replied cheekily. This cleverness. "Plus you're cute so that's definitely making me biased~"
