The Art of Wandlore: Introduction

Welcome, You have just entered a book about the complex and mysterious branch of magic know as Wandlore. You and You alone are responsible for what you shall learn from this book. Dive into this book and read about the secrets of Wandlore. Read at your own risk.

What the bloody hell is Wandlore? Is what your thinking, right. Yep, I knew it. Wandlore is an ancient, complex, and mysterious branch of Magic dealing with the history, actions, and abilities of Wands. The magical stick kind of things that you use for magic. Well, I can tell you they aren't stick things, they are magnificent objects that you will be learning about.

What are Wands? This is a very basic question, but it will be best if I go over this with you. Wands are a magical instrument which a witch or wizard uses for the generation of focused and precise forms of magic. Then again, you do not always need a wand for magic. I shall talk about Wandless Magic some time soon. Usually, you would perform an incantation. Wandmakers are the people who create the wands. I shall go over this soon.

Wandlore was first explored by ancient wizards more than two thousand years ago. To prove this point, it says "Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands Since 382 B.C.". In the beginning of wizard history, the magical forces of the wand may had been experimented upon and explored through the ages, with all the findings written down, as with many other mysteries of the world, each with its dedicated and brilliant explorers. And like those fields, it is evermore illuminated as time goes on.

Now read on, uncovering more secrets about the magical branch of magical Wandlore
