Lili decides that since she was closest, she'd open the door. When it was revealed that two students were waiting out there, one with a bruised cheek and a bleeding nose, Lili looked confuse for a moment. "What the hell?"
It was definitely strange to hear a teacher curse, almost laughable really. But Samantha kept her cool and smiled at the woman. "Uh, hi. Could we see one of the healers? My friend here, Ana, kind of needs one."
"Er... Hey Professor Lich?" She looks behind her for a moment. "Mind helping me with something?" She flashes him a smile before stepping out the door. "I'm a healer. Broken nose and a couple of bruises? Was the fight minor or did you have someone already give you a healing draught?"
"Yeah, this girl says she got into a fight. I just need someone here to take notes while I.... You know." Lili pulls out her wand and waves it slightly, smirking for a moment before she started focusing on Ana's wounds. "So you did you fight?"
"Oh, alright." A fight already? We haven't even gotten to Hogwarts yet. He made sure to keep his thoughts to himself. He looks around for a moment for something to take notes on until he found a pen and journal. "What would you like notes of?"
"Well, when we get to school, we're going to have to take points away," He says to Oak. "So you don't know her name. What robes was she wearing? Gryffindor? Ravenclaw?" Lili looks at Sam. "She should be fine after I heal her nose. The bruise will have to heal on it's own, it's too minor for me to do any magic on it."
He nods and scribbles down, take away points from- he looks over at the girl's robes to see the house-the Slytherin house because of fight. When she admits the other girl was also from Slytherin, he adds, take some more points from Slytherin because of fight.
"Yeah, which is interesting because she could not have been any older than me." She looks over at Sam. "I mean... It's kind of cool? She's a bitch, but I'll admit that it's impressive... Even if her right hook isn't."

She slips in early to nab a window seat, and wedges her cane in between the seat and the wall so it stays out of the way, but still handy in case they get attacked by the horde of first years. She's almost glad she won't be teaching them this year.
When Evangeline crosses the threshold into the professors' carriage, she is pleasantly surprised to see she isn't the first person to arrive. "Nora," she smiles warmly as she sits on the bench across her. "How are you?"
"All things considered, I'm doing wonderful," she chuckles. Turning her head when Ash arrives, she offers a smile. "I wouldn't usually do this, but because we have a lot of new staff this year, I wanted to ensure everyone was well acquainted, and everything went smoothly."
After some sad goodbyes with Andre, Oliver made his way to the teachers carriage. He was starting to have second guesses about this, already missing Andre and he just sighed a little. “Oh, hello,” he said when he noticed the other teachers. “Sorry for being late,” he apologized.
Oh god - new people. This is, categorically, the worst part of starting a new job. Sev opts to sit at the side and not draw any attention to himself, reading a copy of Defensive Magical Theory by Adabert Waffling.

She walks in, a book in her hands in case she needed it for the ride. When noticing there was a lot of teachers already, she politely says, "oh, sorry if I'm late." She quickly finds a seat afterwards.
She slid into the compartment, having practically ran to the compartment, realising she was slightly late. However, she tried to make it appear like she didn't do this by slowing down to a walk just before she entered, smoothing down her hair and trying to control her breathing to a calm, slow, rate. "Oh? Am I late?" She asked as she entered in with a small smile, heading for a free seat, "so sorry."
"None of you are late," Evangeline assures, sounding and looking a bit amused. Seeing as only three members of her staff are missing (Professors Seraph, Kingsley and Chevalier), she decides to go ahead and begin the meeting. The train is already moving - they should be strolling in any moment now. "I apologize for hosting the meeting in such an informal setting. We unfortunately do not have much time available once we return to Hogwarts. A professor's work is never done," she chuckles. "Now, first and foremost, I want to welcome all returning professors back to Hogwarts! As for the new professors, welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please know my office is open to all of you should any problems befall any of you throughout the school year. Likewise, I'm sure any returning professor would be more than willing to help you with anything you may need."
Seeing as the headmistress appeared to be doing the introductory speech, he knew he was late when he practically barged in. With his build and height, it was slightly impossible for Logan to be graceful or quiet. He'd been held back slightly due to his nephews and nieces. So maybe he was a bit of a sob and a bit sentimental but he wanted to make sure they were okay. Even if they were part of a gang. He moved to an empty seat, trying to keep a low profile.
Knowing full well the meeting had already started when he saw Evangeline talking, Silas walked in casually. He didn't say anything as he didn't want to take the attention from the important meeting. With a simple nod to Evangeline, Silas found a seat. Odds are he didn't miss anything he'd heard multiple times before, or even said himself.
"Moving on, I'm sure you all must have at least heard rumors of a tournament this coming academic year. It was earlier this summer that I, along with the Head of Magical Education and the Head of Magical Games and Sports, received confirmation: Hogwarts will be hosting the Triwizard Tournament," she pauses, giving it a moment for her words to sink in. "Students in their third year of education and above from Ilvermorny School and Beauxbatons Academy will be joining us. Male Ilvermorny students will be residing with our Gryffindors and the female portion with the Hufflepuffs. As for Beauxbatons, the men will be staying with Slytherin, whereas the women will be staying with Ravenclaw. Please, make them feel welcome. They'll be attending classes regularly with our student body, and will be answering to the respective Head of whichever house they're sleeping with. Likewise, any points earned or taken from them will reflect on the house with which they're staying, so please, reflect that appropriately," she pauses again so the rest of the staff may process her words. "This year, our staff is counting with two healers: Healer Zamorano and Healer Vermont. Throughout the term, there will be a team of medics deployed from St. Mungo's in case of any serious injuries regarding the tournament. Likewise, we're counting on the aid of a Guidance Counsellor: Counsellor Raske. I fully expect all of you to make every student feel as welcome as possible. Not just our own, but the ones that'll be with us for the academic year. Are there any questions so far regarding the Triwizard Tournament?"
She didn't really look at the person speaking until she secured her bag under the seat. Of course, she wouldn't hear much after actually looking at the headmistress. Her jaw dropped slightly and her posture stiffened, though unless you were looking at her specifically, it was barely noticeable. Professor Selwyn. Admittedly, she had assumed the headmistress was going to be in her sixties or above, nothing below forty, let alone...this. Though if she looked around them, no one save for one or two seemed to be above thirty five at most. She couldn't be any older than Etta was herself, maybe even younger. Though if she looked around them, no one save for one or two seemed to be above thirty five at most, some even looked as if they had just graduated themselves. The thoughts that flushed through her mind as she stared at the blonde, though, was not something she was going to be repeating first years. After a moment, she tried to shove those thoughts out and...listened, catching onto the last bit that was said. This was going to be an interesting year. Because of the Triwizard tournament...nothing else.
