A restored 19th century vicarage. It appeals massively to Steve's twisted sensibilities to corrupt such a place by his very presence. It contains a mass, and mess, of Muggle electronics, and little which, to the casual eye, would imply the presence of a Pure-Blood wizard, and few such feel remotely at ease here, irrespective of their power as wand wielders.
Inscribed on the walls -
from which comes the references also to 'Pooh Corner'. There are, in point of fact, numerous self-indulgent literary references sprinkled liberally throughout the house. Several rooms would indeed seem to be the products of supposedly discarded personae. There are numerous sporting facilities.
This place was purchased wholly and solely with the proceeds from the eliminaton of men of faith, another factor in both Cressida and Steve's joy of ownership.
There is a shielded and Fidelius'd Apparition disk in the basement.

*Steve knows that the interference from the Muggle tech strewn throughout the basement will ensure that, even if the Ministry did somehow gain access, and get past the myriad booby traps and defence devices he's installed, their magic couldn't locate, let alone neutralise, the Fidelius'd Apparition disk down in the cellar. He Apparates in, checks (NV 'Homenum revelio!') for intruders, and heads to his own room. Cressie's been here - there's a half-eaten sandwich balanced on the bannister, the way she does when she's reading, eating and walking simultaneously, and then has to turn a page. Time to gather some essentials.*

*Odd sections of wall depress and slide like a three-dimensional puzzle to reconfigure the mural in Steve's room, and he has access to the weapons cache behind. He selects his rifle, and relocks the mural wall.*

*Steve Apparates back here to double check the security precautions, ensure his bolt-hole is still viable, and obtain a few special items from his pharmacopeia. Shadow has entirely too many assassins among the Shrouded's ranks, and the day of 'survival of the fittest' could be any now.*
