He bounces into the locker room excitedly, a little bummed out that he's the first one to arrive but happy nonetheless. Despite the delay in getting the season started, he felt good about finally playing. He was pretty optimistic about their chances this year.

She arrives at the locker room, clearly pumped for the game. She's grinning as she puts on the final pieces of her gear, namely her gloves. It was windy, so she had her goggled hanging around her neck.

He came in, dressed and ready, but nerves were all over his face.

Anne had thought she was going to be quite nervous for her first game, but she only felt pumped at that moment. She already had her gear on and was ready for the match to begin.
"Welcome to the opening quidditch match of the season! The weather is warm with just a slight wind blowing...perfect quidditch conditions. That means that this game will be decided by the better team. We have Gryffindor playing Hufflepuff today...last year Hufflepuff won against Gryffindor but barely as they were tied before the snitch was caught...and it made the difference in the season since at the end of the season Gryffindor was only ten points behind Hufflepuff. Looks like the teams are ready...the snitch and bludgers have been released...and there goes the toss off! The game has begun!"
Seeing as this was the first game of his last year here at Hufflepuff, he wanted it to be memorable. A win was definitely in his sites when he shot after Zahira, hoping he'd be able to snatch the quaffle away from her.
Hussain grabs the quaffle and zooms down the pitch. Greer tries to steal but the Gryffindor beaters the Shin brothers quickly force him to back off with well placed bludgers. Hussain moves to the goals, fakes right, throws left and scores on Greenwood! Greer recovers the quaffle and moves downfield but...ouch...a bludger in the side from the Shin brothers again. He fumbles but luckily his teammate Chevalier recovers it and shoots...but it's blocked by Vrubel-Kolstad. She tosses it back out to Hussain who again with excellent bludger coverage from her beaters managed to get up the field and shoot again, but this time it's blocked by Greenwood...nice save. She passes it up to Chevalier who passes it up to Greer by the Gryffindor goals who shoots and scores! Score is ten to ten and Gryffindor back in possession of the quaffle.

He winced every time the Bludgers hit him-- they were worse than he'd anticipated. He tried to shake it off, even though he could still feel some pain, as he tried to yet again get into a good position to steal.
Noting the appearance of a student who seemed new to Quidditch, Blair focused with an iron stare on the Bludgers, taking off after them to try and shoot one, followed by the other at Kieran and Kaiden, giving both a challenging look to try him. If they wanted to play, then he'd play, but his way.
Although Cian was focused on stealing the quaffle from the Gryffindor in possession, he still had a job to do as captain. With Jackson and himself trying to get into good positions to steal, Cian mouthed the words "Are you okay?" before deciding to go full out in his attempt of stealing.
He forced his broom straight towards the two bludgers heading for the Chasers, trying to block one then the other quickly. If it required him to body-block them, then so be it. His aim for the Bludgers went right at the Gryffindor keeper and Seeker, trying to take both out of the game early-on.
He glared at Kieran dangerously before pushing his broom to its' limits and trying to send the Bludgers at the Gryffindor Keeper and Chasers with strong smacks of his bat. All of his reflexes were pushed to their limits, something that was dangerous, but at the same time needed.

The match has just started, and she's already managed to score! Grinning wider than she knew she could, she tries to avoid the Hufflepuff chasers and defend the Quaffle she's holding, zooming towards the Hufflepuff hoops again.

He pours all his focus on trying to make sure the Bludgers don't hit any of his teammates, smacking the Bludgers in the direction of the Hufflepuff Chasers and Keeper with a force that was hopefully stronger than the 12 year old's.

He intends to use his upper body strength against Blair. How can he stand a change against two sixteen year olds? He follows his twin's lead, whacking a bludger in the direction of the keeper to take them out as soon as possible.

She wasn't going to let the Gryffindor chaser get past her again. She keeps her eyes straight on the quaffle and is ready to block any quaffle that comes her way.
He looked from both bludgers towards the twins, giving both a glare before taking off to try and aim at the Gryffindor keeper and Seeker carefully. Blair looked like to be having a bit of a hard time keeping up, seeing that he hadn't exactly been taking in blood in a few weeks. But oh well. He'll do anything for Quidditch.
"It's a real bludger bashing session out there. The Shin brothers are doing a great job protecting their chasers from the Hufflepuff chasers and keeping Caldwell busy...and Caldwell can't seem to keep up! He takes a hit to the shoulder from one bludger and the other gets past him and hits Greenwood in the breadbasket...while she's recovering Hussain scores again for Gryffindor! Hufflepuff recovers the quaffle, but another bludger from one of the Shin twins hits Chevalier and Gryffindor scores again! The bludger work is really making a difference in this game, not to mention how much older most of the Gryffindor players are. Hufflepuff again in possession of the quaffle. Let's see if their chasers can refocus and manage to get through the bludgers.
OOC: Sorry for not posting yesterday since I try to post everyday while GMing but I could see stuff on the wiki and the editor would never load so I couldn't post anything. Apologies. Hopefully it won't happen again.
He cursed darkly at the hit, shaking it off and diving after a bludger to try and send at Hussain, sensing she was the biggest threat. This was the part of the game that he loved, you know, the violence. With that hit, he channeled his strength into it, trying to send it flying at a possibility high speed of a hard-to-block hit.

He's older, not to mention he towers up to 6 feet flat, with his muscles filling in quite nicely. It came with the blessing of a greater upper bodily strength, which he tried to use as best as he could against Blair as he flew close to Hussain to try and protect her by sending the bludger in the direction of Chevalier.

He takes the Quaffle, well aware that he's now the Beater's biggest target. He tries not to let that get the best of him as he attempts to use his small size to get some good speed to head toward the hoops.

Elsa is fairly confident in her ability to protect the hoops. She flew around, keeping a very very close eye on the quaffle, and the boy holding the Quaffle. She figured he'd try for a straight shoot -- Easily defendable against. But just in case, she was ready for anything.

She winced at the pain from the bludger. Though, she wasn't going to let it distract her. Her eyes are focused on the quaffle in case of a steal.

He goes to try and redirect the Bludgers, doing his best to hit one towards the current Hufflepuff in possession while being aware of his own teammates in the vicinity and the other towards the Hufflepuff keeper.
The Shin brothers are still at it battering the Hufflepuff team, but Caldwell managed to block for Greer who uses his speed to get a quick shot in and SCORE FOR HUFFLEPUFF. In the meantime the Hufflepuff keeper takes another bludger to the arm in the back. The Shin's are really dominating this game. Gryffindor back in possession and...wait is that the snitch hovering by Greer's left ear?"

Having spotted the snitch a little before the commentator announced it, Juliet zooms to Greer, having full faith in Kaiden and Kieran to keep her from getting hit. Her hand is outstretched as she keeps her eyes locked on the glint of gold.
- “We have nothing to lose and a world to see,” Message Me - 19:06, February 17, 2018 (UTC)
She takes a sudden dive at the announcement, attempting to manipulate her small frame to gain considerable enough speed that Juliet's advantage over her would be close to none. She isn't as confident in her beater's ability to protect her, so she's also keeping an eye out for bludgers as she makes her attempt to seize the snitch.
Jackson GreerHufflepuff Third Year -Son of the Greers – 23:20, February 17, 2018 (UTC)
His eyes go wide when he sees the Snitch in his peripheral vision and, not wanting to be the target of Seekers and Beaters alike, flies away as fast as possible, in the direction of the Chaser in possession, hoping to find an opportunity to steal.

He gets the message and moves to the nearest Bludger, sending it quick to the Hufflepuff seeker and then to the second Bludger, giving it the same treatment, trying to make sure the trajectory was just right.

She's feel's frustrated and in a good amount of pain, but she know's getting to angry will make her game play worse. So she still has her focus on the quaffle and is ready for any type of throw they might try.
"The seekers are both after the snitch with Jackson leading and Rockefeller right behind. She seems a bit tentative and given her own beaters lack of protection this game that isn't surprising. The Shin brothers try to smack the bludgers at Rockefeller but Caldwell darts in between at the last moment knocking one away and taking the other on the shoulder...that must have hurt. Hussain grabs the quaffle and zooms upfield with it but Chevalier and Greer double team her and steal it away...Chevalier zooms up the field and scores for Hufflepuff. Hussain takes possession again and starts heading towards the Hufflepuff goals."

He winces at the Hufflepuff Beater's bodily block but recovers quickly after, getting the nearest Bludger and sending it towards the Hufflepuff Seeker, trying to hit her off-course while making sure it wouldn't accidentally hit any of his teammates close to her.
At the impact of the bludger into his shoulder, he felt surging pain, almost like it was broken, or even shattered. His sound of pain was muffled with the roar of the crowd, but he was definitely struggling to stay conscious. Blair narrowed his eyes at the bludger headed towards Frances, pushing his broom, and by extension, himself to their limits to try and knock it into Juliet.

He spots Blair's weakness the moment he cried in pain, a noise he had the privilege of hearing thanks to the relatively close proximity. The look on his face - Kaiden wonders if the boy is even apt enough to be playing such an intense game. He sets out to redirect the bludger towards his brother, whom he hoped would send it in due course towards Rockefeller.
He tried to return the Bludger at Juliet, knowing that he wouldn't be able to focus for much longer, praying that the game ends soon... The pain grew with every passing moment, and the unfamiliar feeling of blood sticking his Quidditch robe to his upper arm begun to bother him.

He sees the Hufflepuff Beater go towards the Bludger being sent at him by his brother and Kie quickly tries to intercept and send the Bludger towards Rockefeller, hoping that Caldwell's momentary weakness slows him down enough so Kie can get to the Bludger first
"Chevalier zooms in and steals the quaffle from Hussain and zooms down the field passing to Greer who scores for Hufflepuff! The beaters are now focusing all their energy on the seekers who are trying to get the snitch. After that last hit Caldwell doesn't look well at all. He manages to return one bludger hit at his seeker but the second slips by and hits Rockefeller in the arm. Jackson manages to snatch the snitch and Gryffindor wins!"
OOC: Sorry Hufflepuff...the RNG just wasn't in your favor this game. Hopefully the next one will be kinder.

Elsa drifted down, and walked over to Blair. "Er... Could we get a healer?" She called over somewhere. Elsa leaned over Blair. 'How did you even start bleeding? Bludgers would only hurt you internally..." She said to herself, knowing he was unconcious.

She shouts out in extreme joy before she notices Blair. She zooms down and lands alongside Elsa. "I'll go get a healer!" she says confidently, trying not to show her fear. She concentrated on the memory of going to Hogwarts for the first time (and leaving her not-so-nice parents). "Expecto Patronum!" She decides to send the Patronus to the Hospital Wing.
Cian was obviously disappointed with the lose, considering how big the margins were. But he had bigger things to worry about it regards to Blair's injury. Cian flew down to the ground to evaluate the situation, "Don't worry Blair, a healer will be here soon." He said reassuringly, trying to keep his voice calm as to not cause panic for Blair.
She enters the field, alerted by the Patronus. Lavi searches for a moment before zeroing in on the unconscious player surrounded by some others. She goes to him, assessing the damage by removing his bloodied Quidditch robe. The boy was, again, unconscious so she can't exactly ask him questions. "Could someone tell me a rundown of exactly what happened?" She suspects a broken bone somewhere since that was quite common but this is one of the rare instances where a player actually ended up bleeding in the field.
Hearing a mix of voices and questioning tones, he whimpered softly, trying to speak. “F-Feels l-like d-dislocated... b-broken s-same t-time.” He struggled to open his eyes, focusing on the Healer, then looking around at the other players surrounding him.
She startles a bit, surprised at how quick he was to regain consciousness. Lavi takes a closer look at the injury before conjuring a splint for his arm, careful to not aggravate the injury more, and casts a spell to stop the bleeding. The next thing Lavi conjures is a stretcher to transport the student to the Hospital Wing as quickly as possible.
