Looming impressively over even the largest Beater with Troll-blood in his veins, we come to the Quidditch Gate, the portal to paradise for practically any serious wizarding sports fan. There's the House Cup, there's Special Awards for Services to the School, there's even OWLs and NEWTs - none of it matters once the pennants are fluttering and the brooms are buzzing. This is where it all begins, the flight to fantasy.
Though not one to really play Quidditch, it never stopped Delaney from being interested in the sport and, subsequently, she often stood around and watched the various house teams practice. She pinned it down to her fascination with all things magical and, due to being so far lost in her daydream world, she didn't really notice the goings on around her.

EQ had just gotten done with practice and was really just ready to take a shower and then a nap. They had been working extra hard lately now that the season had started. Not that EQ minded all that much - he liked practice. It was a good way to let off some steam, kind of like how he does with music. As he was heading out, he noticed one of his classmates and flashed her a tired smile. "Hey, Delaney. What are you doing out here?" He greeted, holding his broom at his side as he approached her.
Still in her little world, she was visibly brought out of it as EQ spoke to her. Giving him a bright smile back, she shrugged. "I got bored of Charms homework," She said with a small 'hmph,' clearly hinting at a difficulty with it, "So I came out here to watch you guys, or anyone, practice Quidditch - definitely more fun than charms homework."
