Professor Henry Duffey is the Charms professor at Hogwarts.

History

Coming to Hogwarts

Professor Duffey wrote for the Daily Prophet as an intership during his Hogwarts years, and soon made a living out of it in his 20s. However, Professor Duffey grew tired of Rita Skeeter getting up in his face about who is the better writer, so he left the Daily Prophet in his early 30s. He had read in the Daily Prophet that Hogwarts needed a new Potions professor, so he traveled to Hogwarts to apply. However, it turned out that newspaper ad was outdated. He was about to leave when Professor Jake told him they were in need of an Charms professor. Professor Duffey was an excellent Charms student in school, receiving an OWLs in the subject. He agreed. To this day, he continues teaching the subject.

Personality

Professor Duffey is known to take no nonsense in the classroom. He is strict and will not let anyone (even a Slytherin student) disrupt class. He is not afraid to kick students out of his class for bad behavior, so students know not to cross him. He is very serious when it comes to his job. However, he can loosen up from time to time. He is comparable to Professor McGonagall. However, when one takes the time to know Professor Duffey, he could be a likable professor. He has somewhat of a soft spot for his kitten...

Roleplayer

Professor Duffey is roleplayed by Weirdo Guy.
