The Living Room is the center of the house and where the family often gather, maybe to play a game or read a book. It's large, with tall ceiling and chandeliers, but has a semi-homely feel to it at the same time.

Daniel Porter Sixth Year Slytherin • Stressed + Panic Disorder • Prefect • - "If you think I can't do something then you're wrong"  – 14:13, January 2, 2016 (UTC) Daniel walked into the living room, trying to sit down straight and proud, like he wasn't crumbling down inside. He didn't say anything to Carissa, just stared at the wall.

He looked around the room and asked, "Are you going to miss this place?"

I'm not looking forward to it at all," he said, looking down and then across at her again. "Look, I know I've been behaving weird lately, but I want to make amends. We need to stick together and help each other if we're going to survive living with him again, agreed?"

"I guess it'll only be a few years until we can leave an do our own thing anyway. Have you still got any plans? I wouldn't mind coming back to live here, since it's technically ours now," he said, looking around again, though he didn't know if it would be weird living here without their mum.

His head was starting to hurt for some reason, but for once he didn't feel like being alone so he continued to ask, "What are you planning on doing for a career? I mean, how do you mean you'll join the magical and muggle worlds?"

But he didn't at all and actually replied with, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea." Then he started rubbing his head, feeling suddenly sick and as if the world was spinning, but he did his best not to show it.

He wouldn't show it, but was genuinely a little scared, because this felt very similar to the illnesses he'd had as a child, and he couldn't deal with that right now. He did all he could and tried to bury it down out of sight and feeling. "I'm just tired. It's...been a long day."
