Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 22:03, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
*Einar is perched on the edge of the desk, one leg dangling, sifting idly through the various parchments on the desk, and whistling, off-key, to himself.*
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 22:05, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
Hello, Einar. *grins*
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 22:09, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
"Charlie, since we first rushed headlong through that door, have we seriously done any real good? Dust's on medical leave, I'm a lapdog to "American Psycho", and the Ministry and Wizengamot seems to be declaring for the WHPS more and more by the minute. I'm not even sure how far our own spy, Cassian, can be trusted. When did this become the job?"
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 22:22, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
It has always been the job old friend. *grins then becomes serious after a pause he continues* It isn't all bad news though. The press has gotten the word out about your meeting with Richards and the President of France. "ALLIES FIGHT BACK, ALLIES TAKE WORLD BY STORM" It's all of the place. And Richards put in an insignia for production. They're turning this into an economic strong hold. Creating jobs in America. But you never did tell me how that meeting went.
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 22:28, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
"Yeah, I did. "Lapdog" pretty much covers it. So, how far can we wander into the darker greys before it's all just shades of black, old friend? When does the right reason cease to excuse the increasing evil we "have to do"?"
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 22:33, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
As I do my best to hold you in check, you must do the same with Richards. He may not show it, but he is out for blood. No one has ever threatened his country as the WHPS now does. Even the countries that he is currently invading have never threatened him as much as Russia and Itally. He is angry. He is royally pissed off. If you do your best to keep him straight to the point and go no further, than you can condiser yourself savior of thousands upon thousands of inocents. As for the fighting you must do with the Itialian and Russian governments... and soon German if things continue the way they seem to be...*sighs* You must end it before it begins. As quickly and without as many causalties as possible. And what that means is up to you.
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 22:43, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
"Well, *grimaces* not just me, 'cos this is where the pool gets really dirty, Charlie. I'm supposed to convince you to convince the Order to sign up to be good little soldiers along with the rest of the troops. If you do, Richards reckons he's got the crack commandos he's looking for. If you don't, he'll take that as free licence to persecute every last member to the fullest extent of his boundless vindictiveness. You know how I see the Order - moral and good, but not necessarily the right tool for this job. Brandon's a good man, excessively so at times, but there's few people I trust more to do the right thing. Thing is, we may not have that luxury. So, if push comes to shove, where do YOU stand, Charlie? And can I even ask the Order to fit in, knowing Richards will only push on with his outrageous demands if he sniffs "victory"?"
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 00:46, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
*Frowns* For a long time, Einar, I have pushed for the Order to officially Ally itself with the British Governement. They never did so due to being worried that the Government's view would eventually change. I recently said at an order meeting that you were running for Minister. I said how this could be extreemly benefitual to the Order, and how if we joined sides, the war with the WHPS would end as soon as it started. I personally never wanted an alliance before you became Minister. But ever since, it has been very close to being that way. I helped kick away the attackers from Frozon manor with Auror help. I think they will be on the fence of becoming a Military outpost... there will need to be guidelines. But I think it's possible. At least. Until the war ends. Once the war is over The Order will officially leave the Allies and the British Government. The Order of the Phoeinx works alone. We are an elite force that fights for the Wizards of the World and for peace. But as always, I think I can pull some strings. *grins then Frowns* Brandon will be the hardest to break. Shane always stayed as far as he could from Ministry operations. Even on the brinck of war, Shane only used me to make contact with the Ministry. He thought myself pittyful, but in the end he trusted me. He called me and somehow... he knew that my coming would ensure the safty of Brandon. Maybe... Brandon will see reason. There is no point in us fighting this war alone. Espcially if it's being fought with the governments of the world. A Wizarding War is starting and the Order needs to fight. This may be our way in... But of course we won't work alone. The governements will give the Order assignments and Brandon will lead us through those assignments as he sees fit. Our spies will be our own, and everything such as our base locations and members will be kept classified and Brandon will NEVER let the governments of the world see that information. In matters of the war I stand by you first, but my loyalty to the order will never be shortsighted. *smiles* Let's give those WHPS members a fight they will never forget!
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 07:05, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
"Right then, it looks like we have a chain, depending on two links. I have to tell Richards that Order info comes and goes only through me, and stick to my guns, and you have to - keep certain things from me.
This might be the perfect time for something I've been hanging on to - rainy day stuff. *His hand delves into his bottle green coat, and emerges, impossibly, with the sextant, which is twice the size of the pocket it, apparently, came out of. He flicks open the lid and rummages inside, to the accompaniment of clinking glass.* "Ah! Here it is. *Pulls out a tiny vial, filled with a wispy mist* Your friends trust you more than you know, Charlie, Frozon included. He must've done, 'cos he barely knew me, but he went with your judgment, and left me this, and a couple more like. Supposed to help, so let's break it out. I wonder what the incantation is? Oh, well, let's give this a go -
In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power...
Nah, 'cos I could never figure out how to wrap that one up. Oh, well, bottoms up! *He decants the contents of the vial into his left ear*
Shane Frozon– Former Headmaster of Hogwarts TALK– 20:16, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
Einar falls down deep into a memory. He sees a room he reconizes. The Head of the Auror's Office. Sitting by the desk is a man he reconizes well. Shane Frozon. On the other side of the desk is someone Einar has never met. Shane looks distraught holding his head in his hands. "This is terrible John, terrible. 20 men killed by this... this degenerate. And for what? He wanted more "freedom of speach" you know that is absolutly rediculas! This job... it makes life hurt. It's too much..." The other man began to speak "Mr.Frozon I urdge you not to leave. These men look up to you now! You stopped this.. outlaw with your own wand after the reinforcements were taken down! And you still saved 2 men from certain doom!" "How am I ever to pick between Order members and Auror's under my supervison? 8 Aurors 10 Order memebers. All fell at my command. And you expect me to just move on? How I ask you!? How?" The man named 'John' shook his hand. *The memory fast forwards. Albus Dumbledore enters the room* "Shane?" *Shane runs up and embraces Albus* "Albus! It's been... years.." "I know Shane, it has been a long time. *he sits* I expected to see you more when you became such a 'big figure' within the order." "You know what happened, Albus. Tell me if I did something wrong. I need to know if I did the right thing!" "You did what you could to save as many as you could. Those two men you saved, were your co workers. Those Order members are your brothers through fire. *Albus shrugs* Since your very distraught I take it you feel you should have saved Order Members." *Shane Nods* "Then perhaps, Shane you should think where your place is. The order and the Ministry are very different things. The Ministry has boundries. The Order does not. We work to keep the peace. So, it's your choice. Become Minister or a leader of the Order. There is no middle ground Shane. It's sad that there is none, and someday perhaps you can morph a middle ground but today there is none. Your a born leader Shane. You need to lead. The question is: What do you want to lead? What do you have more loyalty to? The Ministry or the Order?" Once again the Memory fast forwards. Shane is still in his office. It has obviously been an entire day since his talk with John. In walks a women that Einar doesn't reconize. "Shane? Are you okay?" *Shane smiles for the first time in days then stands up* "Jenny." "Shane, what's going on?" The Memory fast forwards. "Well it seems Shane, that you need to decide. The Ministry or the Order. Albus thinks there is no possibility for a middle ground currently. Perhaps someday there will be, but Shane. Don't be that person. I need you at home, with me. *Smiles*" *Shane smiles sincerly* Memory fast forwards VERY far in advance to Shane at a podium. Looking on at Ministry members and Order members. "I must announce my resignation from being the Head of the Auror office. My job and personal life have morphed into a mash of what I would like and mash of something I wouldn't. After the attacks last month, I made a choice... I put members of the Order of the Pheonix in danger for a mission that should have only belonged to the Ministry. I have lost sight of what really matters. Even though I saved many, I have decided that my way of life is with my Wife, and my friends at the Order. I will continue to work here, at the Ministry. But as a regular Auror. I thank you all for allowing me to serve all these years as your leader. Now I ask you to embrace me as an equal. *smiles to them all* Thank you. *claps from the adudicane and a standing ovation*" Shane goes over and kisses Jenny. "What could I do without you?" *grins*... the Memory fades away...

Did, you just see what I saw?
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 22:25, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
"Speaking as projector and projectionist in one, I think I'd have to say - Yes! Now, would you like to get over here and help me off the floor, or is this a spectator sport too?"
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 22:39, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
*Linch helps Einar up* I remember that day. When he announced he was demoting himself. I was honestly surprised, and I always assumed it had been mostly because he wanted to spend more time with his wife. Strange that it had to do with the Order. How did he know we would be having this problem when you opened it?
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 22:50, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
"Shane Frozon, from what little I knew of him, was one of those "interesting eccentrics" I would never be daft enough to even try to second guess. You said something yourself, a while back, about him having visions, or premonitions, or some such. I feel sure that unravelling this will be a fascinating experience in itself. I doubt we're "allowed" to put our Intel Department on it, so you and me have yet another puzzle to crack. Well, you did tell me that, whatever else, this job would never be boring."
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 22:59, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
I'll get on it. Shane Frozon obviously was even smarter than I thought he was. And I thought that man was a guinious. As for the meaning behind the memory... Maybe it was stand with what you belive in? Frozon stood with the Order because he belived in it. So perhaps its a message to you and me not to give up on the Ministry yet?
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 23:07, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
"As Captain, Charlie, I plan on going down with the ship. I've nailed my colours to the mast, and whatever other naval imagery you care to invoke. The short version is, I'm here to stay, for as long as I last. My worry is, what happens to the rest of the country, if those of us fighting on this side are taken down? It's all well and good for Frozon to leave cryptic,. feelgood vibes around the place, but we could have really used his firepower in the coming fracas. We're going through a long tunnel here, old pal, before there's going to be even a glimmer of light."
Linch– Advisor to the Minister TALK– 23:13, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
I know old friend. Shane could have helped bridge the Allies and the Order together... It's likly Brandon will kick me out after I mention conjoining with the government. But I too stand with the Ministry. I also have nailed myself to the cross we call a working society. And I will work with you to make this world a better place. For now I bid you ado, old friend. I go to Brandon now. To try and convince him of the impossible. Wish me luck *grins and then apparates out*
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 23:17, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
*After a moment's introspection* "Well, I wouldn't say this if there was the least risk you might hear it, but my prayers go with you, Charles Linch."
Einar Faris -"Time reaps all. Colour me Cronus." – 07:53, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
*IM* "Dust, if you feel up to it, we could use a general assessment of readiness as regards a mass assault, since, relatively speaking, what hapened here was amateur hour stuff. EF"
