"We can get a Squib representative alongside ICW reps for every country. I'd like to think working on issues with No-Maj would be helpful alongside my original issue; Bring together the Ministries in times of crises, like the war against magical creatures. One of the main duties of IMOL - as defined by the Minister who founded the department - is to prevent contradictions between the British Ministry and its counterparts, domestic issues included. We can't focus solely on international issues, as we can't work effectively on that without having a clear mind about the laws we have to follow at a national level. It all falls under my department's jurisdiction and while I agree on the need to expand the department's duty, I also have a necessity to split my focus with issues at a national level. These are the issues my reps have to take to the ICW - therefore, it's in our best interest if we don't spend all our time somewhere that's not on domestic issues. My department works closely with the other departments. It is not solely one job, Minister - it's many duties that fall on my department's hands, because one thing relies on the other and thus our job triples. Everything regarding laws and legislation is the DMIC's jurisdiction, as it is other department's. My department is easily the most important, Minister. And for our job to be effective, we need to work on domestic issues, too. Not just international ones. If we cannot maintain a firm front, wherein we have a stable country, we will not be regarded with respect within the ICW, as well as in the eyes of countries individually. I'd like to get ICW meeting held here again, since there's been no meetings held here recently. If you'd like me to focus on the more international things, there's the review of the import/export trading I've been doing. What is allowed in the country, and what is sent out. I want to expand the trading networks. Not related to trading, I'd also like to see how the other countries plan on dealing with the tension surrounding creatures. I also want to review the International Statute of Secrecy with all the countries and decide on how effective it's being - And to explore the possibility of deciding where the relationship between the maj and no-maj stand."
