At the end of the first week, Val decided she needed a small break, so after she got the bag of blood- sorry, 'medicine' - from the hospital wing, she decided she'd go out. Not exactly sure where she was going, Val was off towards Hogsmeade, her 'medicine' in a small plastic bottle, drinking from a straw, and her eyes fixated on a book as she walked- Thank goodness the streets were mostly empty today.

Alex turned around and saw a girl drinking something blood red in a bottle. "Probably part vampire." Alex said to himself as he looked at the girl. A thought popped up in his head, it coming from someone both his sons told him about, so Alex started heading over towards the girl to ask her about what he was thinking.

She was already sensing another presence - And that was fine, until she heard incoming footsteps. She stops mid-sip, a sharp breath leaving her, and she looks up, staring up at the approaching man, her eyes fixated on him, but her expression solemn but otherwise empty.
-"Luck pushed me first."

She frowns. "And why are random people talking about some little girl they met to random people that I don't know? ...Why are people talking about me at all?" She seemed quite taken aback about this fact- It was definitely something she did not like.

She slowly nods in understanding. "Can I help you with something then? I met Jarryd once, and.. I'm not all that interesting, so I think I'm just gonna..." She attempted to side-step and move away from him

Max is walking around Hogsmeade, contemplating if he should buy a new coat. The one he has is still in a good condition, but he's craving for something warmer and fluffier. He has a cherry flavored lollipop on one hand and he's licking on it as he makes up his mind.
Originally, Oliviah had planned on visiting Lil Bundles. It just seemed right to see what all was happening there, for at least a few minutes. However, the girl quickly chickened out in fear of disrupting something. The older she got, the more she realized she had a tendency of doing that sometimes, so she tried to avoid it. She was moving through Hogsmeade, chewing on a wad of bubblegum as she worked her way in the direction of the Shrieking Shack.

Not having made his decision yet, Max instead decides to head towards the Shrieking Shack in hopes that the quiet atmosphere there would help him think more clearly and aid in making his choice. Besides, he needs to strategize for Quidditch too.
Oliviah wasn't sure why the Shrieking Shack was screaming her name. It just happened to though, as she skipped and twirled a bit. At least, until she accidentally cut it too close to the shoulder of a taller boy. As she drifted back away, she frowned up at him, "S-Sorry!"
Oliviah, at just 5'0, continued to stare up at him with wide, almost childish eyes. "Yeah, I'm f-fine," she said, looking down when she was reminded of her mother's warning that she needed to stop making such harsh eye contact with people. It freaked them out.

He opens his mouth at first, but no words come out because he's unsure of what to say. The girl is obviously uncomfortable, and Max doesn't want to add to it by saying things that aren't well thought of. "Are you sure?" He asks, a few moments later.
Oliviah didn't seem to register the question as she continued to look up at him, a certain look of wonder in her eyes. "Oh, do you think I...c-could possibly d-draw you sometime?" she asked as she stared up at him and tilted her head to the side slightly.
"W-Wait, you...actually meant it?" she said, jaw dropping slightly in shock. Normally, people declined, but she didn't say that. "Awesome!" she exclaimed, jumping up and clapping her hands together. "Umm, I d-don't know."

By now, he thinks it's safe to assume that she's a special one, and it makes him happy that he could make one happy. "Well, I'm not sure if I could stand still for a long time, unless you're a really fast drawer." He laughs. "I have ADHD so, I have the need to be constantly in the move. Although if you do take a picture, I'll be glad to hang out while you do the drawing." He says with a smile.
Oliviah's jaw dropped before she grinned, "Hm, t-taking a picture and h-having you watch is okay with me," she said, running a hand through her hair as she started rocking back and forth on her heels and toes. "I h-have a f-form of Autism. I think it's p-pretty boring, personally, but," she stated, smiling.
"I heard it wasn't good to be s-special," she stated before following where he was looking and taking that as a signal to start going back towards the Shrieking Shack. "Y-Yeah, exactly! I...I think I wanted to look at...at clouds, maybe."

He frowns. "Well, those who said that are dumbasses. Clearly they don't know how great it is being special." He says. "Anyway, I was heading there too to think about some stuff. If you have your camera now, you could take my picture there?" he asks, smiling.
"Language," she reminded, although sweetly despite her obvious discomfort with the swearing. "B-But I have it," she answered as she reached into her tote bag to get her camera out. It wasn't very high-tech, since it would probably explode if it was anything more than a Polaroid. It made her miss her better ones back home, but she didn't show caring much. "I think we could do s-something cute! L-Like with the Shrieking Shack in the back...maybe, maybe."

He laughs lightly. "Pardon me, mademoiselle. My mouth is unfiltered so I swear all the time, but if you're uncomfortable with it, I can try to restrain myself." He then nods at her suggestion. "Yeah, that could work. I could the a goofy face if you like."
Oliviah would've questioned, but after spending time at Beauxbatons she had adjusted to the idea of being called something that wasn't really English. "Well...is c-cussing bad, d-do you think?" she asked, as she looked up at him, eyes widening. "Ooh, maybe."
-"I'm 152 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones, okay? Sarcasm is my only defense." Message Me – 15:54, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
He shrugs. "I don't necessarily see it is a bad thing, it's just something that I got used to doing. It's like unfiltered expression of one's feelings." He smiles as he leads them on towards the shack. As they get nearer, Max starts to feel chills running up his spine, and he shivers for a split-second. "Wow, this place is creepy."
Oliviah walked with an obvious peppiness, which she had no problem flaunting around as if the common girl's brand new pair of heels. While she approached the Shrieking Shack, the Hufflepuff seemed unaffected by the supposed eeriness it possessed. Instead she seemed quite interested and collected, given her experience here in the past. It wasn't anything crazy, but as a Lil Bundles orphan it became popular for you to run off to play around the Shrieking Shack. At least, that's what it was like when she was younger. "Oh, is it c-creepy?" she asked, eyebrows raised as she looked up at him. "Or, are you c-cold?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side slightly. "I'm perfectly f-fine myself."

"A bit...but it's just that I get scared easily." He admits, frowning. "Also yeah, I'm a bit cold. In fact I've been contemplating about getting a new, warmer coat earlier today." He explains, and then nods at her. "I assume you've been here before?" He asks curiously.
Oliviah's eyebrows raised, "Oh, I have a light c-coat," she suggested as she dug into her tote (which thankfully had an extension charm on it, as she had purchased it) to get the light salmon hoodie out. "Well, I would...would w-want it back o-obviously, but I can l-let you borrow it," she said, before looking back at the Shrieking Shack. "Yeah, a-all the time when I w-was still back at L-Lil Bundles."

He blushes. "Oh wow, thanks." He says accepting it. "And yeah, I'll return it, of course." He adds before draping the coat over his shoulders. It's quite small, so he opted to just use it that way. "Hmmm...Lil Bundles...that's the orphanage, right?"
"Mhm, it is!" she said, twirling around slightly before skipping up higher on the hill and turning to face him. "I was an o-orphan there for...t-twelve years, before my m-mother a-adopted me again," she stated, quite proudly although the time she spent in the orphanage was not the best.

He smiles. "Well, that's nice. So uh..." He was going to call her by her name to ask her which pose she wanted him to make, but he realized that he doesn't know it yet. "Oh wow, I can't believe I forgot to ask your name." He laughs while rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand. "I'm Max, by the way."
"Oh, you don't?" she asked, slightly wide-eyed before she laughed and hopped back over to him, extending her hand out. "Oh, you r-really don't. I'm Oliviah, your a-average Hufflepuff m-minor artist," she said, adding a small flair to her words in the mockery voice she normally did of the Beauxbatons kids. It never crossed her mind that that was exactly what she had been doing when she did, even when they had complained. "And that's Oliviah with a-an H, by the w-way."

He smiles as he shakes her hand. "Well, nice to meet you Oliviah. Me, I'm in Slytherin and I'm actually the captain of the quidditch team this year." He says, quite proud of the title of his, even though Slytherin is in a losing streak. "By the way, I remember seeing you way back but...did you like, transfer schools or something?" He asks with a curious tone.
Oliviah seemed to still get along best with Slytherins, apparently, although the Hufflepuff herself didn't seem to make that connection. "Oh, I don't l-like Quidditch. It's too l-loud and n-noisy, with the s-screaming and ch-cheering," she said, raising her hands up and mimicking the screaming fans with them before giggling and shaking her head. "If I c-could mute them, I think I would be f-fine though," she stated, before her eyebrows raised. "Oh...Well. I was at H-Hogwarts during my first a-and second years, then I a-attended B-Beauxbatons during my third a-and fourth but my fourth year was s-spent at Hogwarts a-anyways. I h-had another y-year at Hogwarts for OWLs, then I w-went back to Beauxbatons. Now I a-am here a-again," she finished, quite proudly.

He fakes an offended gasp. "Quidditch is the best thing in the world!" He says, laughing afterwards. "I do get what you mean, though. Sometimes I get overwhelmed too, especially when you know that a lot of people are counting on you to win." He shrugs before nodding at her. "Well, that's interesting. Although if you don't mind me asking, why'd you move around so much?"
Oliviah didn't understand the mockery, so she stopped and reached to place a hand on his shoulder before he laughed. Okay, he's fine. "R-Right, because you play. I w-wish I could play, but I d-doubt I would like it a-any," she said, "I will make s-sure that I w-watch you play though, at the v-very least." The Hufflepuff paused and her eyebrows knit together, "W-Well, my p-parents wanted me at Beauxbatons and I w-wanted to be at Hogwarts, so we h-hopped a-around a bunch to try to get what we w-wanted, I think."

"That'd be great! I'll make sure to keep an eye out for you on the stands then, for when we play. And you better be waving Slytherin flags, okay?" He laughs, his last statement obviously meant as a joke. He then nods at her. "Ah, I see. Hmm...what's it like there in Beauxbatons? Did you like it there?"
