She's heard of this jinx, but isn't sure why they're studying it in Herbology. Are they going to turn eachother into shrubs and practice pruning?

Hes pretty sure that orchideous is a transfiguration spell but hey- he’s not the teacher. “Isnae’ also a bit of a misnomer? It doesn’t necessarily conjure orchids, but just a generic bouquet?”

He'd nod. "5 Points for each of you. It indeed is a transfiguration spell which conjures a bouquet of flowers. However, when it's used on another person it has the interesting effect of being a jinx which can turn a person...temporarily...into a flowering shrub. So today we're working on conjuring bouquets and please do your best not to turn any of your classmates into shrubbery. Concentrate on what you want the bouquet to look like and use the incantation Orchideous."

JJ was more than happy to try this spell out. This was definitely her kind of magic. Holding out her wand, she recited the incantation with the idea of a beautiful and colorful array of blossoms. "Orchideous."

While he normally wouldn't go for such a spell, he thought it'd be nice to learn for birthdays or anniversaries. Jake figured he could conjure a bouquet for his moms when he got back home. "Orchideous." He mimicked the professor's incantation while imagining a simple bouquet of crimson roses.

Knowing her luck, her flowers would come out dead. Rolling her eyes and trying anyway, she pictured a collection of magnolias like the ones from home. "Orchideous." Collins attempted, trying to keep that image in her mind.

He'd smile as the students all worked on making different bouquets bloom. "Well done...5 Points for each of you."
