The Character's Background

1) Give a description of your character's personality. Are you noble or sneaky? Arrogant or Humble? Anything about your character that might help the Sorting Hat decide. (Don't worry, you can copy this onto your character page later!) (Remember, personality must be at least one paragraph long for the first two characters, two paragraphs long for the third to eighth characters, and three paragraphs long for the ninth to fifteenth!)

Marion is an extremely intelligent student. Fits the super smart Beauxbatons student stereotype quite nicely, really. He studies anything and as much as he can. Failure has always been a fear of his. Well, mostly people watching his failure is more accurate. If he can be top of the class, it will happen... If he isn't already. Although he is quite smart, he tries to not be cocky or arrogant about it. It's not like Marion pretends he's not smart- honestly, he hates it when people do that- but he doesn't show off his intelligence and try to make others below him.

Although Marion may come off as this closed up and shy kid when you look at him, Marion is really social. He loves meeting new people and making friends wherever he is. He'll be down for a party if you invite him, especially if this party contains alcohol and good music to dance to. He tries to be friendly to everyone... Except if you're an arrogant prick or complete asshole. If you come up to him to a spark a conversation, he'll definitely love to talk with you back.

I guess hopeless romantic could fit Marion, but he would refuse to admit it... Lowkey though, he is one and knows it. He will act flirty with someone he crushes on or even just finds attractive. It may turn out to be a blushing and awkward mess, but he still tries. If you see him reading, there's definitely a chance it's a romance of some kind. Really, it's just the idea of someone caring for him and making him feel special is what he really likes.

You wouldn't be able to narrow down a specific skill that Marrion enjoys directly. He frequently changes interests up when he gets bored with one. He's done quidditch, (only played a long time ago in his second year, but still cringes at the sight of a bludger) painting, dueling club of sorts, and even tried writing as well. He hasn't found something that he's loved so much to keep doing for more than a year, but is determined to keep looking and trying things out.

2) Write about the history of your character. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc. (Again, you can copy this onto your character page later!) (Remember, history must at least be two paragraphs long for the first two characters, three paragraphs long for the third to eighth character, and four paragraphs long for the ninth to fifteenth character!)

Marie and Wade were both high class pure-bloods who attended Beauxbatons. There families were quite close so, naturally, the two were as well. Wade always had a little crush on Marie, but was too nervous to be rejected. They only stayed close friends until sixth year. Wade visited Marie's place during winter break while the adults went to some fancy party. The two became drunk shortly after-I mean, most angsty teens would if there parents were gone- and Wade ended up spilling to Marie about his feelings. The two became a couple and married three years after graduating.

Marion was not the first or last child of the pure-blooded couple. He ended up being right down in the middle. Three older siblings and three younger. The family didn't have struggle with money even with seven children so that was never the bother. It did sometimes become a mess when they were changing diapers, helping with homework, and trying to balance work all at the same time. By the time Marion was born, a nanny had been hired to take care of him. Marie and Wade both had quite busy jobs so the nanny helped out with a ton.

Marion had in fact been with his nanny, Lucille, when his first sign of magic was shown. He was six and a half when he went through a phase for really wanting a puppy. Lucille couldn't really fulfill his wish. It wasn't easy to just go out and buy a kid you watch over a pet. Especially if it was a dog. She did go out and buy him a stuffed dalmatian as a gift to be kind. When given the toy, he almost instantly watched as he accidentally yet amazingly made the dalmation run around on its own and even bark. It didn't last very long but it did show Marion's first sign of magic.

It was only five months before Marion started Beauxbatons did something scandalous in the family occur. Marie didn't expect to walk in her husband's office to find him and Lucille in a way that definitely was more then just the two being friends. After two to three months of fighting and arguing, Marie forgave Wade of cheating if he promised to never see Lucille again. So the nanny was fired and Marion was left devastated and confused when his parents, Lucille, and his older siblings wouldn't tell him what had happened.

After losing Lucille, Marion decided it was time to act more mature. He was going to start Beauxbatons soon and he needed his family to be proud of him. He started to want attention from his parents that he didn't really need before. He tried to show that he was extremely intelligent or how good his magic was. Sometimes even tried to prove he was social and had tons of friends. But with so many siblings, his parents could only have attention on him by so much.

Marion currently is about to start is sixth year of Beauxbatons assuming it to be a normal year of studying for upcoming tests. But who knows what might be in store for him...
