Although raised to be the perfect kid, she has only ever conformed to such expectations when she was in the presence of important adults such as the orphanage owners, potential mummies and daddies, and her teachers. While growing up, she was told she was supposed to be respectful and polite (which also meant no swearing, but the orphanage's janitor cursed too much for her not to pick up on it) to everybody, even those she thought were bullies because she was supposed to treat other people how she wanted to be treated. Naturally, this wasn't something that would cling to the young girl and it became something she followed only when it became necessary to impress adults. When it was just her and the other kids on the playground, it's completely different.
While she's still somebody who really adores having friends and caring for them, she can change her demeanour quickly enough. Even though she prefers the self of her that is encouraging and loving to the other people around her, she's terribly insecure and for that she gets defensive. If she feels offended or attacked, she will jump at anything to get you to feel bad about yourself whether it's through her brutally honest insults, stubborn silent treatments, or overly aggressive arguments. Quite honestly, she hates that she does this, but she's been treated poorly enough over the years that it's become her new defensive mechanism. Truly, she's a bright and quirky individual, but she has her soft spots that are definitely off limits.

Kyra Moira Carroll was born on August 5th, 2019 in Ireland to fifteen-year-old Keeva Carroll. After getting pregnant and realising she was gay, the young teenager decided to switch to homeschooling to avoid the terrible pain of what she was bound to face at school. At first, the plan had been to keep and raise her daughter because she knew what it felt like to have her own mother abandon her. However, her studies came first and her dreams of becoming a quidditch star didn't fit perfectly with raising her daughter, which meant she was doomed to give her up at three months old.
From that point on, the very young girl would grow up to be constantly insecure of the fact that she didn't have a family and she didn't have a mother who had loved her enough to have kept her. At least, that was normally the situation around the orphanage, but she would be known to have crying fits often over her troubles without somebody who genuinely cared for her. After all, those people who worked at the orphanage were just doing their jobs to pay their rent.
When she was still in her child years, she met her best friend at the place that she continues to love to death. Even if she's a butthead sometimes, the blonde really appreciates the other girl who now serves as her cheerleader and her partner in crime. While their friendship grew, their dedication to each other grew with it, which led to the thought that they didn't want to be adopted and separated. As they slowly get older, they were the ultimate team and they couldn't be stopped. Now, she wasn't as alone as she thought she was.
At some point, there were the first couple signs of magic between her making vegetables fly away off her plate or pages of crappy novels ripping away from their binding. Before that, there had been concerns that maybe she wasn't much of a witch at all for she was a bit of a late bloomer, but she suddenly had a flood of magic flowing from her fingertips that would seal the deal. Now, at age ten, she's doing two things: 1) waiting for the time that her letter to Hogwarts would come and 2) working on falling in love with the idea of quidditch while trying not to hold too much hatred for it due to her mother's position in the sport.
