Carmen is often found with her head inside a book, she loves reading and loves to learn. She'd much rather spend time with the characters in a book than people in real life, mainly because she just isn't that good with people. She also loves history, anything about the past interests her, architecture and buildings also intrest her.
She's quite paranoid about things and very self concious. For a few years now Carmen has suffered from Social Anxiety, people often think she's just shy and quiet and doesn't want to make friends. But the truth is that she very badly does want friends, she just don't know how to make them. She wishes she could be funny and exciting, but really she feels like everyone hates her company. So she thinks it's best to focus on her studies at the moment...and the rest of life might work itself out later on. But a part of her is dreading being put into Ravenclaw and forever being defined by her intellegence and nothing else.
7) Write about the history of your character. History must be at least two paragraphs long. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc. (Again, you can copy this onto your character page later!)
Carmen has a twin sister called Kimi (whom I'm going to sort just after this) and also two older brothers. She's always felt like the least loved of her siblings, even though she's the smartest. Her parents don't seem to enjoy her company and often don't invite her to do things with them. Carmen wishes she were so much more like her sister, but they don't get on very well.
As few years ago, when they were younger, Carmen was friends with a boy, but Kimi stole him away from her. Kimi always gets what she wants and even though people love her Carmen can see a slightly darker side. It made her realise that there was nothing special about herself, she was just average, just another smart kid with no personality. But Kim was something special. There was nothing Carmen had that Kimi couldn't get. While the two sisters don't deliberatly hurt each other they have drifted apart and aren't as close as some might imagine. Jealously is strong between them because they both want what the other has, but neither can have it. This event made Carmen start to doubt herself all the time, which led to her social anxiety.
8) Write about your character's appearance. How do they look like? Are you planning on using a certain model for your character? If you already have a picture in mind, you can put it here!
My model for Carmen is hopefully going to be Miley Cyrus. (I've changed this bit from how it was before) I managed to find some pictures of her when she was about 11, like these ones if you want to check http://mileyhq.net/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=65 so I hope that's okay. For what it's worth, this was what I was going to do originally, I just didn't phrase it very well.
Carmen has brown hair and blue eyes - just another way in which she is boring and average. Even though she is beautiful, Carmen doesn't see herself as pretty at all, even though she's identical to her sister nobody sees her as the pretty one. Carmen just got the brains. Most days she just throws on whatever clothes she can find and does her hair loosely, it's not like it matters anyway.
9) Are you Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important Harry Potter characters!) Carmen is pure-blood, but her family don't dislike muggle-borns at all. She was brought up with magic and knows quite a bit about it.
10) Does your character have any special magical abilities? Or special abilities in general (photographic memory, etc.)? Is he or she of a different magical race, such as veela, vampire, werewolf or the likes? Part or half of that magical race counts! (Remember, you cannot have an "exotic" characters as your first two characters!)

1. How much time will you have to participate on this RP site? (This does not affect which House you'll be sorted into).
- A) I have a lot of other responsibilities, and although I really want to be a part of this wiki, there may be days on end I won't be able to participate in anything.
- B) Although I do have some other responsibilities, and there may be times I'll be absent, I should be able to participate on a weekly basis, around my other schedule.
- C) I should be able to participate at least some every day.
- D) I have loads of free time, and don't see participation to be a problem at all.

I have one other, and she's not exotic.
