"First of all, I want to thank all of you for allowing me to stand here today, before all of you. I know it's hard to go through with this election, especially after the incidents we went through just a little bit ago, but I find it's necessary, for many reasons," he begins, with a small smile that fades as he adopts a better-suited, serious look. "I want to extend my sincerest condolences to those who find themselves without family members after these attacks. I stand by all of you. These are hard times, I won't take away from that fact, but I trust we can get through this, as one. We were once a unified nation with many reasons worth being proud of. It's been a long time since we've been able to feel that way, but I trust that we can build a bridge to a better future. Not just me, but all of us. Being Minister isn't a position wherein I make all the decisions I want, or feel are appropriate for the wizarding community. Being Minister is a position where I take your advices, listen to your concerns and advocate for all of you. Under my administration, my focus will remain on building a government you can rely on. A government the citizens of Great Britain can trust to do what's best for them as a whole. For a country to prosper, we need a stable government. That's going to be one of my key focuses. It'll go side by side with helping rebuild all our amazing places and helping the working force get back on their feet. I stand by all of you, Great Britain. I'll be there, as your equal, working to rebuild the fallen structures in Carkitt Market, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. This is your home. This is my home. We can't let ignorance defeat us. We're stronger than that - better than that," he says, firmly. He sounds like he believes what he's saying, and he does. He'll fight tooth and nail for his country, whether it be as Minister or as an official in the Ministry. He doesn't know, though he hopes it'll be as the former in order to be able to offer even more help to his people than he would as the latter. "We are one. There's no need to divide ourselves. Whether we're man or woman, gay or straight, human or near-human, no matter what religion, color, species, or appearance we have - we are all united as one. Now it's our time to show that. These are the times where we all need to become one. It's who we are. And frankly, that'll be our saving grace. I'll do what I can, of course I will. I've already got plans detailed out, which will be elaborated on with the rest of my team as time goes on and will also be extended towards fellow candidates Julius & Morrígan, whichever wins. I plan to do inspections at Hogwarts and review all curriculums for each and every class offered at the school. Lil Bundles will gain the necessary funding to provide a good life for those children. We will be restarting internships at the Ministry, once all departments have been reviewed and - if necessary - reformed. Efforts to bring together the wizarding population and non-wizarding population - slowly, but surely- will also be made, in an effort to better our ways of living. We want to integrate muggle ways of living with our own. With their technology, and our magic, we'd be able to achieve close to anything. You see, there are many, many things I want to do; however, to better our social and political standing, we need to fix our issues at a national-level. For instance, in the past eight years, turmoil has grown between near-human and human populations due to conflicting ideals. We can't have that. Everyone needs to understand: the Ministry of Magic stands for all, as one society. We will tend to every individual need, of course we will, but we need to fix what we have damaged before we can host events like Triwizard Tournaments, Potions tournaments, and all the good kind of events. I want to do it - trust me, I do. But we're a fragile nation right now. One with a long road ahead of us," he says, into the mic. Recognizing he shouldn't draw out his speech, he draws it to a close. "So I hope you all put your faith in me and help me help you. I want to be your Minister. I want to help rebuild our home. I want to help restore our glory. I want to build a bridge to a better tomorrow. I've worked for the Ministry for many long years, as Head of Magical Education and a member of Wizengamot. I understand it won't be easy, and we have a long road ahead of us, but I trust we can do it, if we all put in some effort. I can only hope you store your faith in me to achieve that. Thank you."
