She steps to the podium, confident as ever, and it shows in her expression. "Hello, fellow citizens. My name is Morrígan Talhaoui, and I am one of the candidates to be your next Minister of Magic. Let me start with a small question. Look around you, for just a moment. What do you notice?" She pauses, before resuming. "You don't notice much beyond how everyone looks differently. That's because everyone is different, and unique in their own little way. But some... are more different than others. Does that make those people separate from you? Absolutely not. But in the end... it seems very much that way. And you know what my take on it is? This shouldn't go on. Hatred, division... it sends us backward not forward. And I want to change that. I want to push forward, to create a world where a wizard and a half-breed can stand side to side, with a smile on each other's face, getting along like friends." She pauses, again. "But yet, let me tell you this. Just because I care that much to see the day when everyone is equal, doesn't mean I don't care about everything else. Because I do care. Because everyone matters. No one, ever, deserves to be left behind, for any reason. In these times, people struggle, for many a reason. And those that struggle... sometimes end up being left behind. But with me, that shall be no more. And here's how I want to help fix that. First and foremost... everyone deserves to know that there is someone they can turn to, for anything. I will make it a goal to see to it that in Hogwarts, students can feel safe, welcome, and accepted. I will make it a goal to see that adults can go to a professional and feel better knowing that if they have struggles in their life, they can talk to someone. I want to make it clear that in this world, we'll support one another, no matter our differences, no matter our backgrounds." Pause. "I also wish to open doors for future generations, give them the opportunities they need. For without opportunity, people stop and wonder 'Where to next?'. It shouldn't be like this. One thing I wish to introduce, is the opportunity for Hogwarts students to learn about various career paths. When I was in Hogwarts, I didn't really do career advice, because I knew what I wanted to be. But I looked among my peers, and some of them wouldn't have known what they wanted to do. But if I am elected, this will be a definite pusher for me. And I speak no empty words; I shall present you all with progress, and if I fail... I will take every inch of blame. Because it is your voice that matters, and if I fail to give you what I promised... then I have failed the entire society." Final pause. "I will end my speech on one last remark. I want everyone to know, that I will fight to the very end to see a world where everyone is welcome, everyone is accepted, and everyone is successful. Because together, we will triumph in the face of adversity, in the face of division and in the face of failure. Thank you."
