Renée Delacroix-TyrrellChief Warlock of the Wizengamont -"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." – 00:10, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
She ascended to the podium and smiled to everyone, waiting for the chatter to die down. "Thank you everyone. Thank you for this opportunity. My name is Renee Delacroix-Tyrrell, and I am running for Chief Warlock of the Wizengamont.
I arrived in England after my graduation from Beauxbatons. I joined up with the Auror Department, serving as an Auror under Draco Rookwood. In my time, I saw how very gray our society can be. I worked numerous cases where the situation was anything but black and white. I had to use my skills of discernment to figure out where the truth lay.
When Rookwood became Minister, I became Head of the Auror Department. And I believed I served the Wizarding people well. I formed an excellent team of Aurors-- one I would swear by to the end. I knew who I wanted to surround myself with-- only the best, only the brightest. For I knew that who I was protecting-- all of you-- were looking to us to be the best.
A good leader knows when to step down. When I failed to bring Minister Jeon's would-be assassin to justice, I knew that it was time for another to assume the position. So I stepped aside, but still supported the Department in the position of Chief Trainer for the department, so that I could still be a valuable asset.
All my years, all my positions... I believe they have carried me to this point. I know that our wizarding society is anything but black and white, and I know that there are people who need to be locked away. And I know how to tell the difference between those who are guilty, and those who are not. Let me continue to be the best public servant I know how to be, in the position of Chief Warlock, and together we will build a fairer future. Thank you."
