You walk down Diagon Alley, your eyes darting from side to side, amazed at what you can see. You stumble upon an ice cream shop where many people are holding cones. A man hurries round giving ice creams to little children. This place serves bright cones, which don't melt in the sun, and are perfect on any day.

Having been bored alone at the palace, Octavius decided to go out and explore. Something he hadn't done in quite some time, after his long walk Octavius decided to stop for some ice cream. He was dressed quite nicely, in clothes he knew made him look both professional yet dreamy. As he walked up to the counter, Octavius waited for a worker to take notice of his presence.

The day had been one of unusual business, not that Toby complained. He was in his element and loved nothing more than serving people whenever he could - thus explaining why it took him a little longer than usual to get to Octavius. "Hi! Welcome to Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, what can I get for you?" He said almost automatically, his gaze being fixated downwards during the first part of his sentence but eventually looking up. It was clear by the way his smile faltered ever so slightly that he hadn't been expecting a royal to come into the parlour but he smiled all the same; he was sure any different treatment would cause the other to have unwanted attention.

Octavius didn't look at the other really, too busy looking at the menu trying to decide what he wanted. "Yes hi," he responded when he finally knew what he wanted. "I'll have three scoops of firewhiskey please." He finished while finally looking down at Toby. By the look in the other's eye Octavius could tell Toby knew who he was. This, accompanied by probably an attraction of sorts, brought Octavius to smile handsomely.

To say that Toby was slightly intimidated was an understatement; the way the guards that stood outside his door, looking in from time to time, had made him nervous and the undeniable air of confidence that Octavius possessed didn't help either. He nodded, moving to make said things, tilting his head a little. "In a cup or a cone?" He asked, trying to muster his best signature smile - one that was slightly cheeky but still was warming and inviting all the same.

Seeing the royal's smile grow put Toby at ease; it made him feel that he wasn't doing anything wrong. Of course he was familiar with Octavius' sister and, to a very weak extent, Octavius himself, but they didn't know each other enough to engage in a casual conversation. He took no time at all to prepare Octavius' order, handing it to him with a smile, "That'll be eight sickles."

The entire time, Octavius kept an eye on Toby, how he worked and how he acted in his presence. As the ice cream was handed to him, Octavius smiled back warmly as he reached into his pocket for his wallet. "Eight sickles? That seems hardly unfair on your end." Octavius started before pulling out two galleons from his wallet and handing them over to Toby. Knowing all to well that he was overpaying for his ice cream, but it was his way of starting up a conversation with the young man in front of him.

Toby tilted his head at Octavius' words and, when handed the two galleons, he couldn't help but look and act shocked. He was used to getting tips but that often included an extra sickle or two, not a galleon and then some. He smiled the best he could, though it was obvious he was still doing his best to internally process what had happened, "I, uh, thanks! Are you sure? That's a massive tip..."

Toby glanced behind Octavius and noticed the lack of people. A quick look at the clock informed him that it was pretty much closing time and that he should be getting rid of the other but, noticing the obvious signs that the man before him (a prince at that) was interested in him, he worked against his better judgement and nodded, "Seems a bit counterproductive to buy the owner some of his own goods."

"It was a joke on how you're paying for the owner to have some," Toby replied with a little, airy laugh. Still, he nodded all the same and just got some scoops of vanilla, put it in a pot and made his way over to the table, sitting opposite Octavius and shooting him a smile. "I gave you the royal discount - mine should only be a galleon or two."
