Flood

Flood

Located a block away from Oxford Back Alley, behind a sold brick wall is Flood. To get in, you tap a brick with your wand, Diagon Alley style. The bricks shift into a door, which you quickly open. Inside is a small, crowded kitchen. A little square table sits right behind the door with 3 chairs, and a short counter has another 3 stools against it, but that's it. The kitchen is full of the sound of food sizzling in the pan, the workers' shouts to each other. Three large fireplaces are build into the far wall. Each on has a large pot of Floo Powder next to it.

Flood serves standard takeaway fare, with a small menu of foods for other Beings.

Leopold had just recieved a nasty punch to the mouth and was gingerly supporting a busted lip, blood now soaking his hands. In reponse, he reared off and grabbed a fistful of green-tipped hair and repeatedly begun to hit a male's head against the brick wall. After the man slumped down to the ground, Leo expertly popped the collar of his leather jacket since it risked bunching up in the arm areas.

Normally Tshepo wouldn't be caught seen in any area such as this. She didn't even know of the place until an hour ago when one of her new friends had introduced to her, although the way she had described it didn't mention anything about people fighting. Tshepo near the wall, warily watching the action.

Leo's gaze slid toward Tsepho temporarily before he used his thumb to wipe away some blood from his lip. He could heal it later with a spell. Snagging his fingerd into the back of the guy's shirt, Leopold dragged him away from the brick wall and used his wand to open up the entrance to Flood.

"I suppose I'm supposed to pretend I didn't see anything?" Tshepo remarked dryly after Leo opened the entrance. "Am I allowed to ask why you beat up a grown man in an alleyway?"

"A pervert that had what was coming to him," he said definitively and crossed his arms over his chest, wondering why she cared at all. "Plus, he hit me first. I was just giving him a taste of his own medicine."

"That doesn't make physical fighting justified in anyway," she said. "Although I suppose you didn't have any room to get diplomatic? I wouldn't know since I got here late." She walked past him into the Flood, tossing some braids off her shoulder. "This is... small."

"Diplomacy isn't really my thing," he said in response and then glanced at the Flood with a lopsided grin. "Yeah. I like their take-out."

"I can tell," she deadpanned. She glanced around and then looked at Leo. "You said you liked their take-out? What type of food do they make?"

He seemed entirely unaffected by her opinion on his lack of diplomacy and nodded his head, using a spare hand to oush back some curls from his line of view. "Uhh, I usually stick to one thing and so I don't know about anything other than the spicy potato wedges and chicken tenders," he admitted sheepishly.

She faked a smile, shifting her weight to her left leg and crossed her arms. "Wonderful. Not only are you violent, but you're not versatile. But if you keep having them, I suppose they're good then."

This was the most private and out of the way place that Elenore could find. She didn't want to be bombarded with photographers, or have people swarm her and Alfred. All she wanted was to spend some time alone with her cousin, and she hoped that he'd be able to make it here alright. At the moment she was sitting down at the small table, eating away at some chips and dip.

It had taken him a little longer than expected to arrive; as was probably expected. As per protocol, it was to be known to somebody where he was at all times, even when he wanted some privacy. After telling a close adviser of his whereabouts, he managed to enter the room and smile at his cousin. "Apologies about my lateness," he said, head bowing slightly, "I nearly was forbidden to come."

"Oh it's alright, I expected you to be late." She commented, but gave him a small smile. "I'm glad you could come though, I thought you might get trampled by all your fangirls," She said with a small chuckle.

He stifled a laugh as he looked down momentarily, shrugging. "I doubt I have any dedicated fangirls - perhaps lovers of our family," he said, "But what about you? Were your fanboys not following you?"

She rolled her eyes at that, "You know they always do, but now it's just flat out creepy." She said and took a bite out of her chip. "And all of us have dedicated fangirls/boys, haven't you seen the blogs they post about us?" She questioned, glancing at him.

"Sounds a lot more sinister than my fangirls - maybe I should be more appreciative of them," he commented as he moved to sit before her, head cocking slightly, "I'd rather not. Last time I looked at the blogs I remember being corrected on my posture at an event. Seeing the negativity makes the pressure worse."

“Well you don’t have to worry while you’re here, it’s just us and the cooks.” She said, knowing how badly he was stressed out. “And It’s okay not to be perfect, if someone points it out just point something out on them. We’re all human,”

He smiled thinly as he shrugged, "Maybe for you it's okay not to be perfect." He was silent for a second before running a hand through his hair, "Me? I need to be perfect."

"We all have our perfect faces we put on, some of us just don't seem to care," She said as she sipped her drink, a few cousins coming to mind. "Alfie, has anyone told you that you have to be perfect?"

"Your parents and Grandma told you to your face that you have to perfect? They said the word 'Alfred, you have to be perfect.'?" She asked, thinking that was a little much from them.
