*She knocked on Fiona's door in a manner which struck her as rhythmically odd, she then proceeded to stare her fist.*

She opened the door, happy to see her sister. "Lilah! Come in."

*Had Fiona not yelled her name she would have stood in the doorway thinking about that knock and staring at her fist.* "Right." *She walked inside, looking around at Fiona's decorations.* "Very nicely done." *She grinned approvingly.* "Will you come with me to get the Bougainvillea bouquets I ordered from Jolies Fluer?"

"Good." *She sighed rolling her eyes and laughing a little.* "I couldn't ask anyone else but you, Fi."

"That was the other reason I asked. You can tell me if they a bad bunch. They just look pretty to me. All I see is those bright colors and I forget to look closer, for those little things no one wants to point out."

"I know they are, that's why I ordered them. When we go I don't need you to tell me that. I need you tell me if you see aphids, or brown-thumb syndrome. You know, if they look weak, or like they'll wilt in less than a few days."

*She tried not to smile too obviously, hoping Fiona wouldn't be like Henry and point it out.* "Fi? I'm going to ask you something, and I want you to be 100% honest with me. Don't say something nice because, you know, you're the nice one. Okay?"

"Do you think I should drop out of school?" *She waited a few seconds before she continued.* "I hate school, I sort of hate being forced to learn too. I always have. I can't ever keep my focus in class, and the only passable scores I got on my O.W.L.s, or whatever they are called were in the subjects I've been doing well in since Russia. I honestly don't see a point in going back."

"Lilah..." Fiona was shocked. "Well, I wouldn't. But you seem to really want to drop out. And... as long as you aren't working with magic as an adult, you can be successful. I mean, muggles do it. You could drop out. I'll miss you when I'm at school, but we're all almost graduating."

"I want to be a musician, Fi. I want to make music. There is nothing I've been learning that's helpful in the wizarding world, so ... I might be better off just going for it now instead of putting it off for another two years. It would give me more time to practice, but I sort of think I'm one of those people who learn better from experience. Life experience in this case." *She sighed even more confused now than when she asked.*

*She looked at Fiona suspiciously mostly believing she was only saying what she was to get time to tell the others.* "I mean... I guess I'll go back this year... to see if it's really worth it. I like working on my music in the dungeons, the acoustic are amazing in the pit. I can just keep doing that for while, I guess." *She glanced back down at her notebook starting a fresh page.*

*She laughed.* "I would prefer it if you didn't tell dad. I don't need another lecture from him about education. I already know what he'll say." *She put on a gruff voice trying imitate their father.* "Lilah, school is important if you don't want to go to this magical school you'll have to go to a regular school. My daughter is not going to be a drop-out." *She rolled her eyes.* "You can tell the others. I don't care what they have to say. Yours was really the only opinion that mattered, and maybe Rowena's."
