Karith Black would be brought into the court. He would look haggard from his short time in Azkaban, his eyes suck back into his head a bit. He looked exhausted, and dirty. He would look up at the Wizengamot, waiting for them to speak.
"I saw the death occur. At the time, I could not make out individual people, it was too blurry. But there were two people in particular that caught my eye. One was wearing bright pink and black; I assume that was Professor Young. The other was a man wearing brown. He was NOT the murderer, but he was happy about it. I also saw green. I had assumed at the time it had come from a curse, but it was actually the poison used to kill Professor Young. Not everyone in the room was British, but the majority were. That's how I knew it would take place at the ball."

Professor Euclide narrowed his eyes as the sentence was given. He knew from experience that Karith would probably be driven insane from the dementors, even if other evidence testified in his favor later. He also pondered why Karith would receive a life-long stay in Azkaban, even if he had committed this crime, while James received only 10 years and he had attempted to kill hundreds of people, and still succeeded with four.
