Misuse of Muggle Artefacts: This office regulates the use of magic on Muggle objects and confiscates those which have been illegally bewitched. One of the laws they enforce is the prohibition on magically altering a Muggle vehicle with the intent to fly it. Aurors will only be assigned here if they are to be stationed here for long periods of time.

Magical Law Enforcement Patrol: The Magical Law Enforcement Patrol is tasked with general law enforcement, like with the Muggle police. They are sometimes stationed at strategic places in search of fugitive criminals.After a chosen amount of time in the field with the Patrol, they'd be allowed to go into Intelligence Division, or work as a Hit Wizard, although they can choose to stay in Patrol. Patrol Officers work here for a minimum of six years, and can later choose to continue to work here or specialize further. The office also has a separate division of Aurors-in-training. These aurors-in-training shadow an Auror in patrol and a small amount of time in Hit Wizard and Intelligence Divisions to see what they're options are. After finishing training they can choose three tracks, patrol, Hit Wizards or Intel.
Intelligence Division: The Investigation Department is a subdivision of the Auror Office. It centres on investigation and tracking down wizards not abiding the law, though more specifically, dark wizards. They don't do the same work as Patrol Officers, as they work more so behind the scenes, gathering intel, tracking down wizards, etc. Aurors wanting to specialize here must shadow an already-full intelligence auror for a minimum of six months before achieving status of full fledged inteligence auror.

Hit Wizards: Hit Wizards comprise a team of highly trained wizards tasked with arresting notorious criminals of the highest magnitude. The entry requirements include five N.E.W.T.s as well as an extra year of training after completing their time in the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol. They are the equivalent of a Muggle S.W.A.T. Team. Members have a personal bed reserved at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. They must achieve the minimum time required for Patrol Officer, as well as undergo rigorous training for another year.

She appeared out of nowhere with a note attached to the remnants of her shirt, handwriting in a strange looking red ink, blood. Watch out, Aurors. Last chance. Rey lay limply in a forming pool of dark blood, black hair dirty and knotted with bruises and cuts covering her face, arranged in such a way that it seemed to cause her pain. Her clothes were torn up, covered in dried blood. It seemed that the little girl had been tortured, but if she was turned over, her back would show letters spelling out words such as 'traitor', 'werewolf', and a whole bunch of others.

She was just stepping out of Duncan's office when she noticed the body. Briefly, she stood rooted in her spot, surprised, but a few short seconds later she burst into action. She sprung forward, once she surveyed the situation, and called aloud: "I need medical assistance over here! And get me the boss!" With someone hopefully paying attention, she tries to clean the mess up with tergeo, hoping that getting rid of the dried blood would make it easier to spot her wounds. Which apparently were quite extensive.
Considering that Valencia had literally just left his office, Duncan heard the commotion and did not someone to fetch him. He burst out of his office and hurried over to Valencia and Rey, drawing his wand. "Vulnera Santeur," he incants in the ritual like-fashion for the spell trying to close up her wounds

The girl whimpered softly, only sound of life. Her injuries were numerous but the spell begun to close them up slowly, steadily. Her chest rose and fell unsteadily as she lay on the floor, trying to scrunch her eyes open to fix bright blue on Duncan. "h-hurt..."
He just looked at her consolingly as he continued to incant the spell in a ritual like fashion before looking at Valenica meaningfully, hoping she'd the message: apparate
She didn't need to be told twice. Valencia took the girl into her arms gently, careful not to rouse her out of her sleep or further her injuries, but quick enough to be gone with a loud crack in a matter of seconds.
"One of the inmates is claiming to have information pertaining to a case involving a 'Winston Wolf'. The system says it's an open case and you're lead investigator."

A large silvery German Shepherd appears in the office and finds the first Auror it sees before delivering it's message. It opens it's muzzle to speak and Mason Brown's voice floats from it. "A bomb has gone off in Hogsmeade grounds, we need reinforcements." The dog then dissipates into thin air

Jelena was just passing by when the patronus message came. You can't be serious... she thinks, before clearing her mind immediately. Out of caution, she focuses on her happiest memory, that of her joining her parents in the Latvian Auror Office, before saying "Expecto Patronum!". A ghostly silver arctic fox - identical to her Animagus form - appears, as she tells it "Go to St. Mungo's. Pass this on - We have a bomb explosion in Hogsmeade and there might be wounded. Send any Mediwizards you have available." The arctic fox bounded off to its destination. Meanwhile, Jelena then refocuses, before apparating to Hogsmeade.
Attached to the owl is a packet, in which a gold wedding band is kept. The initials of the ring, inscribed on the inner side say "C.B."; Charlemagne Baudelaire.

She kept reminding herself that this is a whole new environment, and of course a whole new set of people to meet and whatnot. So she has to start somewhere. She opts to go and meet her assigned partner, Duncan. She'd knock on his office once, figuring she wouldn't need to knock more than that.
He had his prosthetic off since his stump had been bothering him. He grabs his wand and waves it, and upon seeing a person he didn't recognize, a few pieces clicked in his mind. "Ah, you must be Jelena Bērziņa."

He nodded, and grabbing his cane using it as a leg stood up on his one good leg. He extended his hand that wasn't being holding the cane out for her to shake. "I apologize for offering to shake your left hand... but as you can see, my right hand is otherwise occupied."

It didn't really bother her too much to shake left hands with Duncan, after all, she had some left handed friends once upon a time. "It's fine. I'd ask what's the story with the missing leg, but I figure you probably don't talk too much about it."
He sat back down, "Nah, I don't mind. I was part of the US Army Rangers for a long time before I became an auror. If you don't know who the rangers are... they're a muggle special operations unit. Our helicopter was shot down, and the rotor blade cut my leg off."

He nodded, "You're right about that," he says. "It's defintely better than nothing. But enough about me and my prosthetic leg... tell me about yourself. I'm gonna be 'training' you," he does quotes around the training bit. "I better get to know you a bit more. Your name makes me think Eastern European but that's all I got."

"I'm Latvian actually, but Eastern European is a good guess. I'm no stranger to being an Auror; my parents both were Latvian Aurors, and I served with them too, for a good 8 years. I transferred here after I decided I needed a change of scenery and a different environment to work in. It's not so much that I didn't like working with the Latvian Aurors, but I felt I still needed a change in my life."
He nodded, "Well welcome to England. Obviously as you can tell from my accent... I'm not native either," he says with a bit of a chuckle. "My wife is. We moved over here from the States when she started to miss England."

She sent a Patronus to every Auror she had, and waited for them to arrive.
After he had collected everyone's statements and done one last sweep of the entire ballroom he had locked it up. He now walked into the Auror Office sporting a conjured cane. "I have the statements of everyone there and it's locked and secure."
He'd apparated the moment he'd gotten the message. He gave a tight nod of acknowledgement

She gave Duncan a curt nod. "Thank you all for your promptness. I'm not going to sugar coat this. There's been an attempted assassination on the Minister. The coward was still masked. He's probably late 20s, based on his build, and roughly six feet tall. He's got nine accomplices. I don't care if you're intelligence at this point. Everyone must look. Elvira, Max... you partner up and go. Sarah and Ryder, you too. I wish I had better leads, but you are the finest Aurors there are, so get going." She looked at Duncan. "We're going to go over the statements and see if we can find anything else in there. Anyone who may have interacted with them... anything." She addressed the group. "I know it's been quiet for some time now... but now we're all in this for the long haul. Best of luck."
OOC: Carn has informed me that they aren't going to find anything, so there isn't really a place for me to send your Aurors for an additional RP. If you want to find a place with your partner and do so, you can. Have Carn GM if you want, but my understanding is, they're going to come up empty for quite awhile. But Renee isn't going to let this rest... for obvious reasons.
