Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
The DRaCMaC is the second largest Department in the Ministry of Magic. It has been divided into 3 divisions named after the three categories of magical creatures: Being, Beast, and Spirit. The DRaCMaC also has liaison offices for Goblins and Centaurs.
The Spirit Division is one of three divisions under the control of the this department. It deals with all duties and problems concerning those magical creatures classified as a "Spirit" by the Ministry.
He wandered through the department after trying to solve an issue with some magical creatures that had come over from Germany. He had never really been down here, so he took his time making his way through.
Bailey had just came out of his office and was walking over to the being division side of the department. He had a clipboard with things on it that he wanted to talk about with the division. As he was walking through one of the halls, he noticed Julius. "Hello there Mr. Tyrell."
He held up the own files in his hand. "There was some sort of trade issue that involved some unregistered magical creatures coming over from Germany, so I came down to get some more information and advice. They got me all squared away, so now I feel like I can actually get it all settled." He smiled. "And, I haven't really spent much time here, so I thought I'd look around."
He looked down at his list. "There were we're quite a few joberknolls, a couple graphorns, and three baby Romanian Longhorns. They were discovered while trying to receive a shipment for wand cores. So I'm trying to figure out what people were trying to do by smuggling them in and work with Germany in order to find the people and the creatures back to where they belong."
Bailey nodded at the mention of all the magical creatures that were smuggled in the shipment. "I see, I don't know why anyone would think that that many creatures would go unnoticed... Have the creatures been allocated to a temporary holding area? If not we could take care of them here for the time being. We've got the room for them in our creature holding areas."
OOC: I'm just assuming that they would have places to hold magical creatures :P
He nodded. "They're just in the originally containers they were brought in, but if we could keep them here, I think it would be a lot more secure whil I work things out with the Germans."He smiled. "Thank you Bailey. I'll start getting them sent over."
Bailey shook his head quickly. "Not at all, I'd love for you to stick around to be perfectly honest. I think I might even be a little offended if you didn't stick around~" He teased, smiling afterwards.
"Well I think we'd have to wait and see, but whatever department you want to be in I'm sure you can switch~ Of course this is all banking on me actually being elected minister." He then laughed faintly.
He laughed along with Bailey. "Very true. I guess we'll have to wait and see. You never know which way the tides will turn." He smiled. "Moving on from politics, how are you and your family doing? I hear you have another little one on the way."
Bailey couldn't help but smile at the mention of his family, a normal reaction to whenever they were brought up. "Yes I do, number three. Seems like just yesterday I found out the first one was on his way~" He paused for a second. "What about you? How's your family doing?"
"Congratulations. That's so exciting." He smiled when he thought of his family as well. "They're doing well. My wife's just working away with the Aurors and my son just turned two. It's crazy how fast time passes, isn't it?"
"Well that's good. I don't know if we'll have more than just our one, because I might lose my sanity. Maybe both ours can have a play date sometime. Philip could benefit from some more social interactions"
Bailey nodded, "I think that sounds like a great idea. Benji doesn't really bring kids home from kindergarten considering we use magic quite often in the house. So it'd be good for him to have non-muggle friends~"
