Sabquarters
You follow some old tunnels through the citadel. Its grey walls seem to turn brown, like stone. You quickly realise that you're going downwards - underground by now, you're sure of it. These catacombs are the oldest part of the building. The walls whisper should you be here? You press on, there's important business you have with Miss Le Fey. As you reach her 'quarters' you are struck by how empty it is. All there is in the middle of the room are two bronze braziers, in the middle of which is a chair, seated on is Sabrina herself. Her lips curl, you'd better state what you want and fast- she doesn't look best pleased.

Okay, he knew this time. Julian knew he wasn't allowed in this area unless he wanted to speak too the leader. Who he hadn't met yet, though he was bound too sooner or later. Maybe it would be today. Either way, he was here. In Sabrina's quarters. Tessa's fault, she dared him to sneak in here and he did it. He was currently eying the chair and was...rather disappointed with what he found. He expected the room to be grander. Guessed a cold, empty room was her vibe. Sinister, he'll give it that. Plus, she wasn't exactly around for a while and he doubted the upkeep of this place would have been people's priorities. Then again, this whole place was rather empty so...consistency he supposed. Julian shoved his hands into his pockets, turning around to leave.

Having finally come home for Christmas break, imagine Morgan's delight to walk into a Citadel otherwise empty, apart from the shadowy figure he just managed to see sneaking into his mother's room. He stands there in the corridor for a solid minute, mentally weighing up the pros and cons of just holding whomever it is at wandpoint, or poking his head in and asking questions; the first one gets the job done, but could also get him killed. Eventually he decides on the latter, and walks up to the entrance just as the guy turns round. "Can I help you?" Morgan asks, looking and sounding bored.

He'd been caught, oh well. He raised an eyebrow as he looked down, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Are we that desperate for recruitment that we recruit...I don't know how old you are," he confessed, though his tone was more carefree than anything. He realised, of course, that this kid had to be from around here. With that type of attitude and the fact he walked in without looking at all lost, made Julian believe the child wasn't some stray. "But I was just looking for Sabrina." What a lie. "I don't think she's in. Might just try my luck with Tessa. Julian, by the way."

It's clear by the look on Morgan's face that he doesn't believe him. Something about this guy looks untrustworthy. His eyes trace up and down to check for any hidden weapons or a wand or money, before returning back to the face looming over him. "You're right, she isn't in. Neither is Tessa," he says, voice curt. "Like I said - can I help?"

He swore, though, like anything that left Julian's mouth, it was smooth and slow, and rubbed the back of his neck, "seriously? And she owed me a galleon," he said with a sigh before smiling, "guess I'll have too catch her next time, huh? I don't know, honestly, I don't think I need help. Still, maybe if I do, I'll come find you."

Before Julian has even finished his sentence, Morgan steps forward and stands completely in the doorframe, blocking the exit entirely as his hands flies to his back pocket, where his wand lies. They can't track spells down in the Citadel - nobody would tell him off for using magic. "I think you can wait here, actually," he says, with a tone of you aren't going anywhere. "You've not got anywhere to be, have you?"

Julian didn't even react when the boy's hand flew to his backpocket, where he assumed some sort of weapon was to be found. Julian was pretty sure (like 80% sure) he could beat a kid, no matter what training the boy had received. Still, he wasn't going to fight him. Where was the honour in that? "No, but I do have a date later tonight. Though I was considering skipping it, he's kind of a bore. Nice to look at though," he said before his smile grew and extended his hand, "I'm Julian. Julian Ritchard. I'm a parader, if that's anything."

Morgan is nothing if not distrusting at heart. He eyes Julian's extended hand sceptically, before looking back up. "Why have I never heard of you if you're a Parader? Sabrina and Tessa must not care that much."

"Joined before Sabrina turned up and haven't run into her yet. Hence why I'm here, you know? Introduce myself. Thought it was by time I did it," he said, wiggling his fingers as if daring Morgan to shake it. "I mostly keep to myself, though, so maybe that's why. Or maybe Tessa hasn't had a reason to bring me up yet."

A few seconds pass before Morgan decides that fine, he'll give the guy a chance. He reaches up and shakes Julian's hand, hesitating before introducing himself. "I'm Morgan. If Mu- Sabrina didn't recruit you, who did? Tessa?"

Julian wasn't stupid. In fact, he was a lot more observant than he let on and 'mu' certainly did not escape his notice. It took him less than a second to realise to figure 'mu' meant 'mum'. Sabrina's kid. Tessa's words Family problems ran through his mind. Maybe that and the step brother was connected. Maybe. Julian was going to keep it to himself, though, until Morgan decided to tell him. "Something like that," he responded, "I do believe she was in charge in Sabrina's absence. So...I'm guessing you're some sort of guard?" He asked as he shook his hand. As per usual, it wasn't rough and the grip wasn't that hard.

He grinned at that, actually finding the statement amusing. "Sure, maybe so. To be honest, I don't think I'm a very good one. Something doesn't add up. Whatever it is, Morgan knows when to trust his gut, and this guy clearly knows more than he's letting on. "Who are you?" he frowns - he's not used to seeing a Parader with such a casual smile. Maybe Soren, and even his has disappeared recently. Maybe because he's getting old. The apparation was relatively smooth, however, it was the first time Morgan would have used that as a means of transportation. She looked to her son, to see how he was coping.
