"I will let you know, my strict eat-all ice cream diet is still in motion," Tessa remarks, but a soft smile spreads. She doesn't miss the nostalgia, at all, and it's a feeling she can relate to. "That's good to know," she adds quietly, and it is. It puts at ease most of her worries, because she knows her mother is being genuine here, and she has nothing to worry of. "I've been staying in my room, here in the Citadel, you know. And, well, I was rummaging through my stuff, both old and recent..." she trails off, a little unsure of how to continue. Her mum is having a soft moment, one that Tessa knows is rare as is, and she kind of wants to broach the topic now, given she hasn't got a clue when she'll have a chance again.
