She's actually sitting on a tree. Well, a tree branch, to be more precise. She's really just looking over the crowd a little away, downing a cone of vanilla ice cream. She shouldn't have snuck away from the group like that, but in her defense, it was hot, and she needed something to cool down a bit.

He's currently running away from yet another storm of crazed Norwegian girls. Seriously. Why does it seem that every Norwegian girl wants to become a Princess by marrying Owen? He ducks behind Malia's tree as the mob runs past

The mob caught her attention. Ahead of it was Owen, she could tell, which brought an amused smirk to her lips. She waited until the girls had disappeared, for the most part, to make her presence known. "One of a kind situation, isn't it?" she chuckled, peering down at him. "It's starting to feel like a reverse version of Princess and the Frog."

"Oh," her eyebrows lifted slightly, out of surprise. "Hadn't known you'd planned on proposing," she admitted, running a hand through her hair. She should have expected it-- Owen and Lili were a strong couple, and had been together for years now. "Well, at least it wasn't an actual no."

"Thanks," she'd say to a bunch of people when they congratulated her, "I'll be at the Meet and Greet tent later on when I'm not so sore and sweaty, you know? Pictures of me right now wouldn't be quite so flattering. See you later!" Once she'd gotten through the worst of the fan crowd, she sighed in relief.
Millie focused back on her food, watching everything from the corners of her eyes until she started to panic. At that point, she looked up completely and appeared almost like a deer caught in headlights.

He frowned, "Millie?" he asked as he followed her gaze.

He was aware there were eyes on him-- it wasn't a foreign feeling, but it wasn't a feeling he particularly liked. He turned to try to find their gaze and when he saw... her... he felt his throat go dry.
When their eyes met, she started feeling tears nearly instantly cloud her eyes. "S-S-Sorry..." she truly forced out before she looked down at her food again, quickly wiping at her eyes to keep tears from spilling.

Not knowing Peter, he didn't see any face that looked familiar. He quickly moved closer to Millie, concerned. "Millie, what's wrong? What happened?"

Wave after wave of guilt crashed over him. Should he approach her? Run away like he'd never seen her? He remained rooted in the spot, not knowing what to do.
Millie would've shoved her face with the food to be able to keep herself from doing anything, but her chest was aching to the point she felt she was going to be choking on anything just about now even air. So, she remained silent and ignored Alden.

"Millie," he said more urgently, focusing on her, trying to get her to come back.

Screw it... He slowly approached the table. His gaze was clearly nervous-- flitting between Millie, the boy she was with, and the ground. "Uhm.... this... this is probably a stupid question, but, uhm... do you.... do you know..." he shook his head. "Of course you don't. You're a perfect stranger. I'll just... go."
The moment Peter approached, Millie's breathing stopped and she protectively raised her hands to her eyes in little domes (which created room for her to see but her eyes were closed anyways). For a moment, she wondered if he really didn't recognize her.

He put a protective arm around Millie, looking the older man in the eye. "I think you should go."

The... fear on the other girl's face confirmed it for him-- he really was a monster. He nodded, the look on his face.... anguish and confusion and... just a hint of sorrow. "Right." He turned and left.
Millie quickly wondered what Peter wanted to do with her. Why would he get closer when he had avoided her for so long? She was telling herself it didn't matter, but it really did. "I'm...s-s-sorry," she said, even though he had left by then.

He shook his head. "There's no need to apologize, Millie. He's gone. It's okay. Do you want to go back to the tent...?"

He sighed, "Can we try not to fight, please? I get that I'm like five years older than even Katarina and I clearly don't remember what it's like to be 13 or 14 years old. But you're siblings for christ's sake."

She'd think for a moment. "I want to say Charakova, but I have a feeling it will be more Larsen and quite possibly both the Norwegian beaters. Want to say that Rasmussen may be dangerous to eat a bludger from, so I'm praying that our beaters can keep her and Jakobsen off me."
He blushed slightly at Pyrrha's words. "Okay, yea I did something." He shrugged. "Yea, Ruiko does a lot of things, but she's a pretty great friend." He wasn't lying, because he did think she was pretty cool and maybe a tad adorable.
